Annaliese Harper knows that one tiny mistake can jeopardize a career before it’s even begun. Letting your boss find the extensive collection of porn on your personal laptop is one way. Sleeping with him is another. Liese manages to do both.
As the new librarian at a prestigious small-town private high school, Liese is drawn to her sexy, charismatic principal, Ryder Whitehall—an attraction she refuses to acknowledge given their relationship and her recent liberation from a delusional ex-boyfriend.
Liese is certain Ryder’s flirtation is the product of her sex-deprived imagination—until he discovers her digital porn stash during working hours and demands a private meeting. Behind closed doors, their attraction explodes into a dangerous, passionate affair that not only threatens their jobs and reputations, but most of all, their hearts.
What do you do when you’re hot over your boss?
Make sexy memes about him.
What do you do when your boss finds those sexy memes?
You hope he will properly discipline you.
Because you’ve been a bad, bad girl.
Liese Harper was pleased to hire on as head librarian for a private high school. When she meets her boss, Principal Ryder Whitehall, her joy becomes a mixture of lust and want. In order to cope, Liese and a friend create some naughty memes about Ryder and all the things Liese wants to do to him and with him. When Ryder discovers the memes on her personal laptop, Liese fears she will be fired but Ryder doesn’t want to fire her. Oh no. Ryder wants to punish her. Over and over and over again. *shivers*
I first discovered Helena Hunting when Mandi told me I HAD to read Pucked. I enjoyed it immensely and in looking over her back list I found The Librarian Principle. Different from her previous works, Hunting writes a deliciously sexy and funny erotic romance with a forbidden work romance base. Strong sexual tension permeates the story as these two dance around the intense attraction that develops from their first meeting. Once the line of no return is crossed, (and boy is it crossed-lol) this couple finds themselves struggling to handle the lust that threatens to overwhelm and keeping their naughty little secret safe from the prying eyes of the school. I loved how strict and proper Ryder is in public but he softens just enough for Liese to let you know this is not a casual affair for him. And Liese is delightful as she teases and pushes all his dominant buttons.
Wrapping her in his embrace, Ryder palmed her backside and pulled her tight to him. Liese could feel the soft fabric of his shirt, the satin warmth of his tie between her breasts, the cold metal clasp of his belt on her stomach. She moaned at the firm press of his erection against her. She could care less if they made it to the bedroom. Being bent over Ryder’s desk in his library would fulfill at least one fantasy.
She attempted to snake a hand between them and struggled to locate his belt buckle. A fleshy smack followed by a painful sting made her gasp. Ryder had just slapped her ass.
“Ah, ah, ah.” He shook his head in disapproval as he kneaded the tender spot. “You didn’t think it would be that easy to dissuade me from issuing your punishment, did you?”
Liquid heat blossomed inside her, and with it came an ache for more of his carnal discipline. “Is that all you’ve got?” she taunted.
“Hardly,” he scoffed. “That was just a love tap.” Not giving her a chance to retaliate, Ryder spun her to face the desk. “Hands here, please,” he ordered, touching the polished wood.
Liese complied. His palm came to rest just below her shoulder blades, and he pressed gently, encouraging her to bend over the desk.
“Perfect,” he murmured.
She felt feverish with need. Every word of approval, every soft touch contrasted with the promise of erotic punishment.
“I really do love these.” He snapped the elastic of her garter against the back of her thigh.
She jumped, surprised by the lick of pain that preceded the heat of pleasure.
She arched her back and widened her stance minutely. “I aim to please, Mr. Whitehall.”
“I’m sure you will.”
