10. In my newsfeed was an announcement that the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte will release on September 8. I didn’t realize this was a thing – people waiting on the release date for this drink. Also announced that this latte will actually contain pumpkin this year.

Let me tell you something – last fall I had a martini at a restaurant called a pumpkin martini something something – it tasted like pumpkin pie – but it only had the spices to make it taste like pumpkin pie – not actual pumpkin. I then went home to make my own – and I added actual canned pumpkin and it was gross! Just give me cinnamon and cloves and allspice. Don’t give me pumpkin (Actual pumpkin pie is gross too – give me  mincemeat!).

8. Look at this fun shirt I saw Sarah tweet this week. I have a younger brother, and when we were kids he was obsessed with He-Man. I remember when He-Man and She-ra would be together on an episode I’d be sooo excited. I still have She-Ra books I try to get my kids to read.  You can find this shirt on Tee-Fury.

6. I’ve blabbed a lot about this on Twitter – but I watched a six-part documentary series on Netflix called Chef’s Table and it was so fascinating. Each episode features a different chef around the world – and I want to travel all over the globe to eat at these places. From how they became chefs, to their inpirations – it’s a beautifully filmed series. I’m obsessed. I want to go to LA and eat at N/Naka, fly to Sweden to eat at Magnus Nilsson’s restaurant and build a fire and let Francis Mallmann cook crazy food for me. Let this happen!

2. Screw fall and pumpkin in everything. I’m OVER pumpkin! (except in my Sam Adams beer). This Dark Chocolate Puddin’ is what it’s all about. I’m desperately clinging to summer. I can’t with cold weather. I CAN’T. But – I CAN snuggle up with dark chocolate pudding. Recipe is here.

1. Friday is here. End of the year rugby pool party followed by wine with some girlfriends. I think I can make it through the party! *wink* Have a great weekend.
