Hero: Vikram Jathar. Has spent the past ten years angry at the world after his best friend and the person he loved, left him to become a star.
Heroine: Ria Parkar. Has spent the past ten years becoming a Bollywood star, but when she goes back home for a family wedding, she is thrust back into Vikram’s life, and realizes the peace she has been craving is waiting for her.
She crushed her kurta with her fists. “I’m not waiting for anything. Nothing is ever going to happen between us.”
“Nothing is going to happen? What about what’s happening now?”
“Nothing is happening, Vikram.” She nodded vehemently, refusing to rear her gaze away from the stubborn hope-filled depths of his eyes.
He leaned into her. “So, when I do this…” His warm breath caressed her lips. “Nothing?”
Every cell in Ria’s body kicked into consciousness.
She managed only the barest nod, pulling on everything inside her not to close her eyes, not to complete the kiss.
“And when I do this…” He cupped her cheek. The electricity of the touch jolted through her, her dimples dancing beneath his touch, sensation buzzing through her like madness. “Nothing?”
She didn’t move. She couldn’t.
“I can feel your body screaming, Ria. I feel what you’re feeling.” His eyes found her again, his fingers found her hair. Tha gentlest tug and her face turned up to his, a breath away from a kiss. “Still nothing?” He blew the word into her lips.
The angst in this book might kill you, but in a good way! *wink* I adored it. Best friends to lovers and a second chance romance. Intense, heartbreaking at times, and super sexy. Releases on Tuesday.

I adored Dev’s “A Bollywood Affair”, so I’m really looking forward to this. Can’t wait :)
