Smexy’s Top Ten
News from Mandi:
Falling into Bed with a Duke by Lorraine Heath starts a new series with a great heroine. Minerva has is officially a spinster, and while she is realistic she also wants to experience a man’s touch – so she goes to a sex club of sorts. I know, I know. Don’t fret – it actually all plays out nicely. I’ll be reviewing soon.
Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas – finally a new historical! I liked this, but I didn’t love it. We get introduced to a lot of new characters, but sometimes I felt the supporting characters overshadowed the main romance. The heroine wore on me by the end. But I liked it. Review to come.
I also read The Fifteenth Minute by Sarina Bowen this week. I talked about it yesterday I top ten. I liked it – the difficult topic of non-con sex is brought up, but I think done well.
Next up for me is Harlot by Victoria Dahl
Tori is away this weekend – but she’ll be back next weekend with her recap!
