10. #Friday

9. A book full of shirtless Irish farmers and some farm animal stories. Is there anything more you want out of life??? Click on the preview button for a little chuckle.

8. This is your Friday cute. OMG.

7. After many months of saying she wasn’t coming back, Sookie has confirmed she will be back for the Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix. Thank goodness!!! Stars Hollow NEEDS Sookie!!!

elite-daily-envision-champagne6. Listen – I know you are all sitting at home right now thinking, oh my god – how boring that we have to spend another summer sailing around on our yacht. I get it!! We are all too rich and we have nothing to entertain us. Well, don’t fret. We can all go out and buy – The Champange Gun. That’s right – it’s like a super soaker – but for champagne.  You can see a video on the website. It’s kinda douchey. LOL

Oh – and the gun itself is $459. Excuse me while I laugh forever.

5. Rogue One – a Star Wars story is releasing this December. I didn’t realize we were getting some spin-off movies but…

… in addition to a new trilogy of interconnected Episode movies, we’re getting a series of standalone, so-called anthology films that examine different areas of Star Wars, illuminating various corners of that far, far away galaxy.

Yay!! (link)

darcy-banner4. Look how cute – a Pride and Prejudice card game. Per this site:

In the game, you play as one of six female characters from Pride & Prejudice and compete to win marriage proposals from up to six of the novel’s male suitors. Each heroine has an ideal partner who earns them the maximum amount of points if she can snatch him up, and the other suitors also provide varying amounts of endgame points. For example, Elizabeth earns the most points from a marriage to Mr. Darcy, and Jane earns the most by marrying Mr. Bingley.

This might be fun :)

enhanced-17467-1459533090-23. There is a new cake called – Raindrop cake. It LOOKS cool, yes?

Guess what it tastes like…..Water. Because that’s what we all want our cake to taste like. I LOVE eating tasteless cake!!!!

The jiggly treat, created by New Yorker Darren Wong, is made from mineral water and agar (a gelatin-like substance made from algae).

YUM!! Water and algae!! Please add some tree bark frosting. Take your hipster cake away from me!!! (link)

2. I’m hosting brunch this weekend and this French Toast Bread Pudding is pretty amazing.  (I’m a hussy for bread pudding). Recipe here.

1.TGIF!! It’s supposed to snow and be 21 degrees tomorrow night. This is NOT okay mother nature!!! Outlander starts tomorrow night – I’ll be snuggled under a blanket to watch. Have a great weekend!!

If you have the Starz app, you can stream episode 1 of Outlander right now. I really enjoyed it. Not going to say anything else, because I don’t want to spoil anything.

    THAT IS NOT CAKE.

That is lab culture medium and you might as well frost the “cake” with salmonella.

    Blerf.

So some chef dude figured out how to make clear knox blocks…I think that’s what they were called when I was a kid a million years ago. You used jello and added additional gelatin (by knox) and you got a firmer jello you could eat with your fingers and use in molds and such.

I guess it being crystal clear is pretty impressive.

No course not! That is not cake by any stretch of the imagination.

Oh and yay for Outlander and Gilmore Girls reunion. I’m surprised Luke and Lorelei agreed. Don’t they hate each other in real life?

Yeah for Stars Wars and Outlander! Also, that “cake” shows why we can’t have nice things…there is always someone wanting to change/ruin it.
