9. Last year The Shadows by JR Ward came out, and I read it (because BDB is my crack and no one will ever convince me otherwise) and Ward killed the heroine at the end of the book. And I raged and ranted (if u click that link, my spoiler tag is broken at the moment on the blog – fyi). Because when a heroine dies it’s kind of hard to have that HEA THAT IS NECESSARY IN ROMANCE BOOKS. *ahem*
And now JR Ward has tweeted the above.
I love the BDB. I don’t love reincarnation. I don’t really care about Trez. I WANT DIRTY LAYLA AND XCOR SEX OMG I’M EXCITED. So that is my answer – do I believe in reincarnation? I WANT DIRTY XCOR SEX.

8. I can’t remember if we talked about the fact that Kresley Cole is going to write a M/M book, Shadow’s Seduction. If we have, I’m sorry – but I’m excited. Blurb:

7. Have you seen the table reading for the new Beauty and the Beast movie coming out? It looks good. Okay, so it’s like a 5 second clip, but I have faith!
6. I’m going to see Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats tonight!!!! Have you heard of them? I love them. Here is a clip of them playing with the roots on Jimmy Fallon. I have never seem them live and YAY!.
5. This is a pretty cool invention, however – for the clumsy girls – there is a 100% chance I will forget I have the nail polish on my hand, and someone will text me and I’ll go to grab my phone and dump the nail polish all over myself.

4. Weekend recommendation – if you like fantasy romance, The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon is really great. Thanks to Angela for the rec! I’ll be reviewing next week. Loved the heroine and hero, the supporting cast. Just a fun, engaging read.

I also love the BDB. I know the more recent books aren’t as good as the earlier ones, but I just love all the characters so much I will probably keep reading them. And, I too want to see what she does with Xcor and Layla!

I read The Bird and the Sword recently. It was an enjoyable book that was quite different from Making Faces and her other contemporaries.

I considered myself a BDB fan. I have every book in all formats, paper, hard, e-book & audio. But that BS book she wrote that I refuse to say by name almost made me burn them all. I was SO pissed! And NOW she’s going to try and fix it. She better bring it correctly. I’m going to read The Chosen, but only so I know what to expect in the next book. I don’t like either Xcor or Layla and don’t even care they have a book.
I know, I know. :(
But I’m totes excited about Kresley Cole writing a m/m book! I hope that it a “real” m/m and not some fluff piece.
