News From Tori: It was a slow reading week for me due to the election and results.

Brutal Game by Cara McKenna is the sequel to her award winning  erotic romance-Willing Victims. McKenna once again weaves her magic around her most popular couple and fans will fall in love all over again.  Review to come.

Managed by Kristen Callihan left me laughing and swooning  in this opposite attraction romance that pits a straight-laced band manager against a carefree no holds barred young lady. Review to come.

I ended up DNFing The Secrets In My Scowl by A. E. Via due to the characterization of the hero, the stereotyping, and a sexual assault scene that’s framed as dubious consent.

I’m finishing up Cynthea Eden’s Taken and then starting Tamsen Parker’s Due South.

I am trying to get back in the habit of writing a wrap up about what I read. This week I had to nope out on a book that was too over the top for me. Books I actually read and enjoyed.

Due South by Tamsen Parker– Workplace romance is one of my favorites. Evans is awkward. Lucy was sweet and kind. I highly recommend this book.

Currently reading Better Love by Daisy Prescott. I am about 40% in and I am enjoying it. Hero is 43 and a silver fox. It is a second chance romance, also one of my favorites.

I hope to be able to read Brutal Game by Cara McKenna this week.
