Barbarian Heart by Ruby Dixon–I had been wanting to read this one since I first heard about it. It was okay-I enjoyed seeing new plotlines and old characters- but spent pretty much the whole book wanting to smack the heroine. It was all MARSHA MARSHA MARSHA. All she does is cry, whine, and punish the hero for losing parts of his memories in a cave in. The fact she realizes this but won’t stop just irritated me more. 0_o

Bad Neighbor by M. O’Keefe– OoooO this dark erotic romance suspense will have readers wanting their own bad neighbor. I and Mandi joint reviewed this-read here.

Twice Begun by Reina Lisa Menasche–This impulse buy was a pleasant surprise. Though touted as a rom con, it also fits comfortably under womans fic when a woman who is blindsided by her husband’s leaving uses the time to take a long hard look at her marriage, her life, and makes some much needed changes.

Bride of the Dragon by Georgette St. Clair–I love St. Clair’s PNRs. Fast, fun, sexy reads with ridiculously alpha heroes and smart, snarky heroines. An insurance fraud investigator gets more than she bargained for when her plan to recover a lost jewel ends with her engaged to a dragon shifter. Plenty of laughs and lust made this a perfect escapism read. Currently only $.99 on AMZ.

This weekend Im reading Jen Frederick’s Downed and hopefully Kit Rocha’s Beyond Surrender.

News from Mandi:  I love the Kate Daniels series and Magic Binds by  Ilona Andrews was amazing as usual! This is the first time I listened to a book in this series, and I think I will listen from now on. The narrator is fantastic. I adored every page/minute of this book. Tori reviewed it earlier this year.
