Every year since it started, I have hit Daytona Beach the first week of February for the Coastal Magic Convention. Hosted by Jennifer Morris (@HappyTwilighter), this smaller convention focuses on bringing readers and authors together in an intimate setting that facilitates more one on one interaction. Starting on Thursday and ending on Monday, CMC offers a place to network, rub elbows with some of your favorite authors, make new friends, reacquaint with old friends, and grab some seriously awesome swag all in a fun, relaxed, and stress-free environment. Held at the beautiful Hilton Daytona Beach Shores Resort, attendees are able to hit the beach, Disney World, or any number of sights while enjoying the convention.
It’s also one of the lesser expensive conventions at only $95. *thumbs up*
It was wonderful seeing all my friends and getting to spend some quality time with everyone.
The wonderful and hilarious Chelsea Mueller promoting her new debut book-Borrowed Souls-which releases May 2nd.
The always lovely Lara Adrian.
The adorable Jennifer Estep and hilarious Graylin Fox.
I got to stay all weekend this time (and sleep with the ever so sexy Robin Bradford ) and had a fantastic time.
Hoping I can convince Mand to meet me there in 2018.
Now for the Giveaway
One lucky winner will receive all the goodies pictured above that I collected from CMC2017.
Just leave me a comment on which author you’d love to meet most and I will pick a winner this Sunday.
This is open to US residents only.

There are so many! But of all, probably Julie Garwood because she is who truly started my love for romance. I had read my mom’s Danielle Steele and Jackie Collins, etc., growing up, but it was The Bride by Julie Garwood that really hooked me and I’ve never looked back.

I don’t know if I could pick just one. My top 5 would be Julie Garwood, Nora Roberts, Nalini Singh, Christine Feehan, and Jayne Ann Krentz. That would be Awesome!

Wow, it’s hard to pick just one of the many authors I love. I finished riding Diana Palmer’s latest book the other day, so I’m going to say her. The list is really long, though.
