News from Tori-Christine Feehan’s Bound Together finally ends the long overreaching arc that carried over from the Drake Sisters series. It also looks like Feehan maybe spinning off this spin off with another series. We shall see. An okay read overall though the repetition and rambling were mind boggling. I was sorely disappointed at how easily the main conflict was contained. Review to come.
His Custody by Tamsen Parker gives readers a lush and provocative erotic romance with a pinch of the forbidden when a guardian and his ward cross the line. I reviewed for H&H.
Annika Martin’s six installment of her Kinky Bank Robbers series-The Hard Way -offers readers the usual fun, sexy, laugh out loud story but with some more serious moments this time around. I reviewed for H&H.
The Billionaire Beast by Jackie Ashenden is an erotically charged twist on the age old tale-Beauty and the Beast. I enjoyed overall though the hero really makes it hard to like him. I reviewed for H&H.
Rule Master by Sienna Snow picks up a plotline from book one and runs with it. I enjoyed this second chance romance; especially the tense sexual friction between the hero and heroine. I reviewed for H&H.
I’m currently reading Paullina Simmon’s Red Leaves (a reissue from 1996) and then it’s Amanda Steven’s The Awakening.

News from Kini:
Wicked Sexy Liar by Christina Lauren– I listened to this and it was a fun and sexy listen. Lola, friends with the girls from the previous books, falls for Luke, who was previously in a relationship with Mia. But Lola doesn’t know that when she first met and have sex. Then Lola decides she can’t be involved with him, so Luke has to work extra hard to win her trust and love. Possibly my favorite of the series.
Dirty by Kylie Scott– I got this as part of a book club with Heroes & Heartbreakers. It was okay. The heroine walks away from her wedding at the last minute and ends up in the hero’s bathroom. They had some great banter and tension, and I was really invested in side characters but not the MCs. Will definitely read the next one.
Take Me Back my Meghan March– I twittered about how excited I was for a marriage in distress book. And the first half was really good and hitting all the marks that I wanted for that trope. And then some other things happened that were outside of that and I was disappointed. It was entertaining, but not what I wanted.
Bossed by Sloane Howell– Cute and sexy read. Full review to be posted soon.
What’s next for me- I started A Bolt from the Blue by Maggie Wells, the other night. Maggie sent me an ARC a few weeks back when I was asking for recs on books with older MCs. I am looking forward to the release of Hold Me Down by Sara Taylor Woods on the 28th. And I picked up Hail Mary by Nicola Rendell and I’m going to read that.

News from Mandi:
His Last Defense by Karen Rock features a heroine that is a captain of a commercial crab fishing boat in Alaska. I liked the heroine a lot – the romance fell a little bit for me – review coming this week.
