Hero: Nicholas. Tormented. Craves a woman he can only have one day a year.
Heroine: Livvy. Tormented. Craves a man she can only have one day a year.
The hero and heroine have feuding families so they can not be together. They have messy pasts with a lot of hurt. But love finds a way…..
This book is very sexy, but sometimes it’s the build up, that can be the most fun. The little things. Like this:
His fingers went to the knot of his tie. It took her a second to realize what he was doing.
Oh no. She tensed. No, no, no, not his tie. Goddamn it.
Did he know? Could he possible have any idea how much she loved watching him unfasten the Windsor knot at his throat?
Livvy traced her tongue under the edge of her upper teeth as the expensive silk whisked against Egyptian cotton. He carefully folded it around his hand, and she had to fight not to press her hand over her belly at the jump of excitement there. That deliberate, neat gesture always did something to her.
Or this:
“Yes. One night,” she whispered. “I need…”
His hand landed on her thigh, shocking her witht he heavy heat and electrical tingle that ran through her body. His rough fingers stroked higher, moving her short skirt up, clenching on the soft flesh there. They both stared at the way his fingers molded the skin. How many times had his fingers dug into her things wile he slammed his body into hers?
She needed. Christ, she needed.
Nicholas released her to put the car into drive. “I know exactly what you need.”
And don’t worry – he does. #dirty. Full review coming on Tuesday, the day of release. I enjoyed quite a bit.

Somehow “the day of release” seems quite an apropos saying in this context!
