Dear Martin by Nic Stone-Early reviews have been outstanding for this story of a young African American whose intelligence and hard work mean nothing against the color of his skin. A stark and frank look at the racism, prejudice, and bigotry in America today.

Ghostwriter by Alessandra Torres-A romantic suspense by Alessandra Torres? YES PLEASE. I love the premise of a writer who is writing her own confession.

Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan–A noir thriller set during WWII where a young woman must cross social, economic, and legal barriers to discover what happened to her father and why.

The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman-I am a huge fan of Hoffman and Practical Magic so imagine my surprise to see she revisits the Owen family in the past with this prequel.

The Dirty Book Club by Lisi Harrison-I received this arc in the mail and was intrigued by the concept of a secret book club where the membership is passed down.

Bountiful by Sarina Bowen-The fourth story in Bowen’s True North series promises loads of fun and smexy times, not just because it’s Sarina Bowen writing it, but also because she crosses over with her Brooklyn Bruisers series. Review to come

The Stolen Marriage by Diane Chamberlain–Set during WWII, a young woman abandons her fiancee and career to elope with a stranger. Now she is stuck in a loveless marriage with a husband who ignores her and town that hates her.  I love the premise hinted at of a marriage of convenience, a secretive husband, and the possibility of an unreliable narrator.

Roomies by Christina Lauren–The Lauren duo always deliver with their sexy humorous romance contemporaries-this one developing over a marriage of convenience.

Wilde in Love by Eloisa James–WEEEEEEEEEEE I do enjoy a good Eloisa James romance.  In her newest historical series, James pits a celebrity reality star of sorts whose private life is an open book against a sharp witted young lady who views his publicity with horror.

From this Moment by Melanie Harlow –What does one do when your husband passes,  you fall in love with his twin brother, and everyone is against the relationship? I DON’T KNOW!! But you can bet I’m going to read this book and find out. :)

Foretold by Laura Spinella– A new author to me, I’m intrigued by this paranormal thriller featuring a psychic investigator, missing children, and an old love interest with an agenda. This is the second in a series and I’m unsure if reading book one is required. Review to come.

Hard Wood by Lauren Blakely 10/23. Even though a lot of her books feature the same type of hero (cocky turns sweet-ish) I still have a good time with all of her books. I almost always do these on audio….fun listen.

Most of All You by Mia Sheridan, 10/17. I read and enjoyed Archer’s Voice long ago – ready to get back to this author. The blurb also pulled me in.

Duke of Desire by Elizabeth Hoyt 10/17. One of my favorite series and authors! This duke is, “Cynical, scarred, and brooding.” Gimme.

Touch of Red by Laura Griffin 10/31. One of the best romantic suspense authors out there. Great series – all can be read as stand alones. I rec them all.

Christmastime Cowboy by Maisey Yates 10/24. Yates has become such a comfort read author for me – add in a holiday and I’m excited.

Black Hat Hacker by Soraya Naomi – This came out earlier this year, but just made my radar this week, so I’m adding to this list! I’ve heard good things about this one on twitter and I like the blurb.

Off the Ice by Avon Gale and Piper Vaughn 10/30 – I read a m/m hockey book by Avon Gale earlier this year and enjoyed it – this is the start of a new m/m hockey series. Interested to see what this duo will do….

Hold Her Again by Shannon Stacey 10/23. Just give me alllll of the holiday books this year. All. I’m so in the mood for holiday romance.

Save a Truck, Ride a Redneck 10/16 – Buying this just based on the title. LOL.
