Mandi: Before I hand the post over to Maisey, I wanted to jump in and say I recommend Maisey Yates any day of the week! I adore her books and I’ve definitely had some swoony moments. I also find her books incredibly comforting. Don’t miss her newest release….

Maisey:
Romance is a part of my life all year round. I read it, and I write it, which means Valentine’s Day is, to me, a celebration of all the things I love even when it isn’t February 14th!
But if you want to really stock up on stories that will make you swoon this month (though I say… why not do it every month!?) I have some book recs for you!
If you want a cowboy…
You need to get ahold of Cowboy SEAL Homecoming by Nicole Helm! The hero is a cowboy Navy SEAL who has come back to his family ranch with his brothers in arms. He wants to create a safe space for soldiers suffering with PTSD. But he has to contend with his tough stepsister who has plans of her own for the ranch. And then with his own inappropriate attraction to her…This book is full of heart and warmth and big Montana skies. It’s a fantastic read!
Or if Billionaires are more your thing…
You need The Wicked Billionaire by Jackie Ashenden. Lucas Tate is a billionaire and ice-cold sniper for the US military, who is tasked with protecting his best friend’s widow when her late husband’s checkered past comes back to haunt her. This book is hot, emotional and full of forbidden desire. I absolutely loved it!
What about a contemporary duke?
Caitlin Crews has written a fantastic romance called Undone By the Billionaire Duke! A moody manor house on the moors of England provides the perfect backdrop for this romance about a virginal nanny tasked with caring for a brooding duke’s new ward. This is a totally indulgent book with everything I love. Hyper alpha hero learning to connect with a child and learning to fall in love, and, a plain Jane heroine being made to feel beautiful by the man who desires her.
Or maybe you like bikers?
Make You Burn by Megan Crane is the first book in the multi-author Deacons of Bourbon Street series (full disclosure…one of the books is by me!) and she kicks it off with some serious heat. The hero, Ajax, is foul mouthed, dirty, gorgeous alpha and I fell in love with him in one page. Set in New Orleans, Megan brings hot sex to the bayou, and it is everything.
Do you like it really, really hot?
Check out Black Sheep by Zara Cox. This book is a wild, erotic ride that kept me turning pages. I read it all in one sitting and was totally captivated by it. Quinn is the epitome of the broken hero. I love a thoroughly damaged man having feelings for the first time, and this book has that in spades. Definitely for readers who are feeling adventurous!
And finally, if you want a regency, I have to rec…
What I Did For a Duke by Julie Anne Long, which is without a doubt one of the most romantic books I’ve ever read. It’s a slow burn with an older hero and younger heroine, the way she builds the attraction and emotion between them is captivating. I adore this book, and I think I recommend it in nearly every book rec post I do.

Thank you for the recent. I love Jackie Ashenden—and THE WICKED BILLIONAIRE is one of her best. I love the scenes involving the artist heroine trying to capture certain images and emotions on canvas. Ashenddn has a final book in the series coming out next month that ties together her the Tate Brothers books and the Billionaire Fairy Tales series.
