Who says Wistful/Wanton is just for Wednesdays!?
Well…I do. But it’s my party and I’ll share smex if I want to! :-) Today’s sweet/sultry slice of life is from Jamie Begley’s latest Biker Bitches (book six!) novel, T.A and it stands for exactly what you think! *Wink*
The Biker Bitches series is near and dear to my heart. It follows a group of friends, tied to her wildly addictive, The Last Rider, series. With nicknames like Sex, Piston, Fat Louise, Crazy Bitch and T.A. these fearless and tough as nails ladies take ownership of their slanderous nicknames, turns them on their heads and completely embody a ferocity of spirit that makes you root for these bitches! Aside from their toughness and resilience, their friendship bonds are strong as oak and the cornerstone of each of the Biker Bitches stories. Best friends that take each other’s back and falling in love in impossible circumstances?- Welcome to Biker Bitches!
Cuffing season was supposed to be about finding a hook-up to keep her warm during the cold Kentucky winter nights. T.A. wasn’t looking for Mr. Right; she just wanted Mr. Available.
That was before she met Dalton Andrews. The widower was nursing a broken heart, and the only thing he wanted was a woman to take his grown kids’ minds off worrying about him.
It was supposed to be a trade-off—he would keep her warm and toasty during the nights, and she would put up a smokescreen in front of his kids during the days. It was a win-win situation.
That was until the famous actor decided he wanted out of the deal and Mr. Available was a no-show during the biggest snowstorm of the year.
Poor schmuck didn’t realize that all the drama he had experienced in Tinseltown was nothing compared to dealing with this bitch.
Sweetly Smutty
“What’s your heart been telling you?” she whispered as her heart started racing within her aching chest.
“That somehow, someway I’m in love with you.”
Instead of looking at her after making that confession, he turned further to face the window, so she would be unable to read his expression. She didn’t jump up and down at his revelation. Instead, she felt a deep sorrow at the conscious-stricken admission. She rose from the chair, her sock-covered feet carrying her to him. Sliding her arms around his waist, she held him tightly, her hands clasping together on his stomach as she laid her cheek on his back. His good guy wasn’t an image that Dalton portrayed, it was in his DNA.
Smuttly Sweet
“Your breasts are sensitive…” Another long stroke of his tongue had her trying to twist out of his carnal embrace.
“Hollywood… please let me move,” she begged.
“I will… soon. Why do you like to call me Hollywood when you get aroused?”
She stilled under him, her face turning to the side.
“Tell me, Trudy.”
Her name on his lips had hers trembling, not wanting to ruin the first time he was actually fucking her, but it wasn’t in her to deny Dalton anything he wanted.
“Because I know Oceane will always own your heart, but Hollywood… I can have a small part of him.” She wasn’t expecting him to gently turn her face to stare back at him.
“There’s no one here right now but me and you, no matter which name comes out of your mouth.”
When he captured her mouth, their breaths mingled, as did the lower ends of their bodies. The sex between them became of duel of desire to see who could win the battle. T.A. knew that Dalton’s main goal was her mind-blowing orgasm, while, God help her, she was fighting for so much more. She was fighting for the ultimate prize: a small part of the soul that Oceane had carried away with her. She didn’t want or need the whole enchilada, just a small, tiny piece she could call her own. It would be more than she’d had before and it was what she’d been searching for all her life. Dalton was the man she had been looking for, and now all she had to do was convince him.
If you are no stranger to Treemont and Kentucky and the Last Riders/Predators/Biker Bitches universe, let me know what you think of Biker Bitches. I love this world and will read ever release ever (ever!) but I had such a mental block when it came to accepting Dalton in a hero role. I just couldn’t stop thinking of him as Grace’s dad. And it has nothing to do with him being older (I lovvveeee a silver fox *purs*) it’s just…Grace’s dad!? lol! Nevertheless, true to form, T.A is sexy and my fav parts were seeing the prior characters in and around the story. If you are new to this wonderfully vibrant and rich world, you are in for one hell of a ride!
T.A. can be read as a standalone, but the deep rooted friendships are best experienced with some history.
T.A is available wherever e-books are sold!
