Smexy’s June TBR

June 3, 2019 by Angela 1 Comment

Angela– There tons of good books releasing this month! My request button finger must have been on overdrive because I have a ridiculous amount of books on my ARC TBR list this month.

Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh 06/04- I’ve been holding on to this one because it’ll be a YEAR before the next release. But we finally get back to the SnowDancer Wolves and I am excited to dive in. Review to come.

Give Up the Ghost by Jenn Burke 06/03– I enjoyed the first book in this series SO MUCH. Wes and Hudson are both fabulous and I can’t wait to see what kind of craziness they get into next.

Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey 06/11– A debut author with a fun new RomCom? Yes, please.

Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey 6/11– I love this author, so of course I was going to request. Also, I think I have every book with an animated cover releasing this year for review. Lol.

Protect the Prince by Jennifer Estep 06/12– The first book in this epic fantasy series was so good. I’m tempted to go back and read the first book in the series, Kill the Queen, before I dive back into this world. We’ll see.

Kingdom of Exiles by Maxym M. Martineau 06/25– I’ve heard good things and I’m always on the search for new and fresh fantasy romance. I’ll report back.

Her Other Secret by HelenKay Dimon 06/25– I love this author. I didn’t even read the blurb before I one-clicked. Lol. It looks like its romantic suspense with a heroine running from a scandal who meets a sexy, mysterious handyman. Mmmmm…

Kini- Much like Angela, my one-click finger was in overdrive for books pubbed in June. I am not including my whole list out of embarrassment but am focusing on the ones that I really, really want to read.

His to Claim by Brenda Jackson 6/4/19– I don’t read many cowboy books but the cover of this got me interested in cowboys. And the blurb says the hero has to WIN BACK HIS WIFE. Y’all know I love a marriage in trouble.

The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez 6/11/19. In case you missed me tweeting about this or my review, I am very excited for this book to be in the world. I’d love to chat with peeps if you read it.

Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey 6/11/19– Rom-coms are definitely my jam.

Parental Guidance by Avery Flynn 6/17/19– This illustrated cover looks cute. The blurb mentions 5 dates and a PR disaster.

Evvie Drake Starts Over by Linda Holmes 6/25/19– I used to be a devoted reader of her pop culture blog, Monkey See. A few years ago I learned Holmes read romance. I am excited to see how much of any of her pop culture background makes it in to this book.

Sheena – Like, Virginia, June is for lovers! And after one of the weirdest reading slump spirals I’ve been caught in and out of over the past few months, I am feeling revitalized and in the mood for some seriously steamy HEA’s. Lucky for me, my June TBR list is promising!

Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh 6/4/19– It’s Alexi. SnowDancers. Psy-Wolf pairing and I’m already in love.

A Girl Like You by Samantha Chase 6/11/2019– I love Samantha Chase novels. They are always so emotional, wistful and romantic and I can’t wait to lose myself in this one!

Raphael (Deadly Virtues, #1) by Tillie Cole 6/11/19- Tillie Cole writes darkly tantalizing novels that shake you to your core and I’m equal parts anxious and excited about a new series.

Wreck My World by Victoria Ashley 6/25/19– The blurb got my attention – second chance unrequited love with turmoil and complicated past- yes please.

What a neat list. I’m definitely interested in hearing more about Kingdom of Exiles.
