So much good stuff here, but a book I was eagerly awaiting today—Pam Godwin’s LESSONS IN SIN (featuring one of my transgressive catnips: a priest who breaks his vow of celibacy)—has been moved to June 29, alas. However, there’s plenty more to choose from: I’m looking forward to the Lexi Blake’s TREASURED (“male client/female bodyguard” trope—yes please!) and Julie Kriss’s COLD DARK HEART. I didn’t know Marley Valentine had a new book coming out—I loved her WITHOUT YOU last year—so am adding ACHE to my tbr! I’ve never read Bella Emy but her IMPRISONED appears to feature one of my favorite tropes, a man in love with his best friend’s wife/widow/ex, so onto the tbr it goes. Same with Kailee Samuels Reese: I’ve never heard of her, but the synopsis of THE OTHER SIDE OF UNHAPPY seemed like all sorts of angsty m/m goodness, so another tbr addition.
Btw, the link to Juliana Stone’s THE DEVIL IN MY BED appears to be broken. I didn’t know Stone wrote paranormals, but I’ve read a bunch of her Crystal Lake romances and her books do often get postponed to later dates, perhaps that’s what’s happened here.
And finally cover snark time: doesn’t the perspective of the cover for SUMMER HEAT make it look as if a giant woman is toying with a teeny-tiny man? Paging Jonathan Swift!
I agree about the perspective of that cover, @DDD! The cover I had to puzzle out was The Last to Leave.
Yeah—I didn’t realize that was two women at first! Lol
Nor did I! I think that the clothing colors didn’t help.
