WAYLAID and FALLEN ROSE are on my tbr for this week. I’m already halfway through ABSOLUTION: it’s very good and quite melancholy. I know the heroes are going to experience some primo angst in the second half of the book because things are going too smoothly for them at the 50% point in the book.
And I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I can’t get my mind around that cutesy illustrated cover for HOT UNDER HIS COLLAR. One of my favorite transgressive romance tropes is a priest driven by passion to break his vow of celibacy (Sierra Simone’s PRIEST, ftw!), but that cover does nothing to convey the angsty heartache and smoking-hot sexy-times that a book featuring that trope should include. That cover, along with the $10.99 ebook price, is enough to keep me from adding HOT UNDER HIS COLLAR to my tbr.
Thanks for this list, Angela! I’m investigating several titles.
