I had intended to download the new books from Maisey Yates, Caitlin Crews, and Jackie Ashenden this morning, but we had a huge storm here last night and lightning struck the transformer outside our house. It’s fixed and we have power again, but our wireless is totally fried. I anticipate spending the day in “Your call is important to us” hell rather than reading new books by my favorite authors, alas!
Oh, no! Hopefully it gets back up again without too much trouble.
Glad that you are unhurt, @DDD, but ouch on the phone calls. I hope you’ll soon be reading again.
My “favorite” customer service moment this morning: the representative tells me she can’t order a house visit from a technician and gives me a number to call to get the technician…and it’s the number I called her on! Me: “That’s the number I used to get to you.” Her: “Oh.”
Meanwhile, I’m out of wireless & cable for at least another day, so I went to the library and hopped on their wireless to download the books I wanted—because I wouldn’t have a thing to read otherwise, lol!
Also, is it just my dirty mind, or is calling an m/m romance WHAT HAPPENS IN THE END a bit of a double-entendre?
