Wow—so many interesting choices this week. I downloaded Skye Warren’s ONE FOR THE MONEY this morning, but I didn’t realize Ruth Cardello was releasing a new book—and it features one of my favorite tropes: one twin pretending to be the other one. Lastly, I know how hard someone has to work to become a doctor (MD or PhD), but every time I see a book by “Dr. Rebecca Sharp”, I’m convinced it must be non-fiction involving some aspect of physical or emotional self-care.

The fact that Dr. Sharp feels she needs to put the Dr. on her author line (and it is in her address for her webpage as well) makes me think her books are probably not for me. I can understand being proud of your career (heck, my husband has a PhD but the only people who refer to him as Doctor are universities he attended asking for money), but this seems a bit odd, particularly for works of fiction unrelated to your area of expertise.
