A PhD student who wants a recommendation, a scientist who needs an assistant, and a new product that will change people’s lives…if the two don’t kill each other first.
I, Sophie Carson, put my PhD in biochemistry on hold for my ex-husband. Now, nothing will stop me from getting what I want. That’s why I’m accepting a gig as a research assistant at a pharmaceutical company to earn points with my university and gain valuable experience. A win-win, right?
Only my new boss, Dr. Max Goodall, turns out to be the gorgeous guy with a panty-melting British accent I danced with and kissed at a bar. The worst part? He doesn’t remember me. Okay, I downplay my looks at work, but still…
Now, we’re stuck working together. Max is smart and sexy, but we clash over everything. And I mean everything. That doesn’t stop our chemistry from growing…exponentially.
We can’t react.
After my analysis, he’ll be poised for greatness, and I’ll get a glowing recommendation. How hard can ignoring our attraction and focusing only on the data be?
Hypothesis for Love is the first book in the Romancing the Geek series, a new steamy rom-com series set at a pharmaceutical company in Seattle, Washington. It features the enemies-to-lovers trope between a smart heroine who’s done with men, and her sexy, nerdy scientist boss, who needs his project to succeed…or he’ll be looking for a new job.

AUTHOR BIO
Emi Leon lives in Washington state and writes steamy rom-coms. She believes love and laughter go hand-in-hand. Nerdy and grumpy heroes are her favorites. The fact she married one has nothing to do with it. She’s a STEM girl turned romance writer, who hangs out in coffee shops reading. Just look for the woman in smart girl glasses and ponytail with a steaming beverage in front of her, who may blush when she gets to the good parts (i.e. sexy times.) She thinks everyone needs a happily ever afters. And a dog. Oh, a cat, too!
