Penny Watson books always make me laugh. And sigh. And also realize how awfully sexy beards can be. No matter what book of her’s I pick up I know it’ll be quirky and fun. Sweet Adventure is the third book in her Christmas themed Klaus Brothers series and features the hippie, Birkenstock wearing Sven and the tabloid reporter he falls in love with.

When I started this one I hadn’t read the previous two books in the series, but I was so utterly charmed by the super sexy son of Santa that I went back and bought the box set to catch myself up. Be warned there’s elves, magic sleighs, a Yeti and some mystical, secret tunnel in-the-midst-of-danger lovin’. The hero is a bearded hunk who’s not quite as laid back as he first appears to be and our heroine can’t help but totally fall for him almost immediately. You’ll definitely be surprised by Santa and Mrs. Klaus. Simply adorable.
