Rhys Ford: 415 Ink – Rebel Blog Tour

January 2, 2018 by Mandi 41 Comments

Hello and welcome to the 415 Ink: Rebel Blog Tour. I’d like to say I’m Rhys Ford, your host but the truth is, I am merely a stealer of space and time. Their space, your time. BUT I hope I can make it worth your while. Because dudes, I’ve got a book I want to tell you about. If you know me at all, you know I have a few tattoos and well, have a hardcore love for art. Skin art to be exact. It’s a difficult medium and well, there’s a culture surrounding it as well. Being a tattoo artist is Continue Reading

Smexy’s Favorite Smex Scenes 2017

January 1, 2018 by Mandi 2 Comments

From Mandi, Tori, Kini, Helyce, Sheena and May - Happy 2018!! We had so much fun sharing books with you this past year. As always, I like to share some of my favorite "Smex Scenes" of the year. I feel like I really fell for the intense,  growly hero this year. We can't wait to see what 2018 will bring.    King's Captive by Amber Bardan - I usually don't love captive romances, but this one worked so well for me. There are some good twists and turns that kept my attention. Super Continue Reading

Mandi’s Favorite Books 2017 and Giveaway!

December 30, 2017 by Mandi 46 Comments

Most of All You by Mia Sheridan - This book made me feel so much. I expected it to be about the hero healing himself, but it turns into this amazing journey for the heroine. Heart break, darkness and pain all eventually lead to peace, love and a HEA. I really loved it. (review) Royally Endowed Emma Chase - I just absolutely adored this book. The hero is the heroine's bodyguard. I wrote in my review that they have super hot, broody sex. I mean - what else is there in life??? (if you haven't Continue Reading

Smexy Top Ten – December 22

10. I'm just keeping it classy around here. 9. I'm  not done yet (I'm at 35%)- but just released: The Hookup by Kristen Ashley. The first in her new self-publlished series features a new girl in town who ends up in Johnny Gamble's bed. But is he still in love with his ex?? I doubt it but you know - suspense! This is "standard" Kristen Ashley, which is not a criticism. I find Ashley to be a comfort read for me - and this is def cozy. And sexy. ;) Late edit to say that I forgot Tori was Continue Reading

Rock diva Emme Hayes already broke up one band after sleeping with the lead singer, and she swears she won’t let sex screw things up again. The problem is, her new bass player—a lean, muscular, tattooed mystery man who makes her want to demand his absolute attention—has her so worked up she can hardly carry a tune. Emme promises he’s off-limits. She just doesn’t know how she’ll be able to confine the heat to her love songs.   The moment Tom McKinney lays eyes on Emme strutting around the stage Continue Reading

December Mini Reviews

Mandi: The Storm by Amanda McKinney Series: Berry Springs, #3 Romance Suspense Grade: C The hard sell in this one is that the heroine's husband is murdered when the book starts, and by the end, she is in love with the hero, the police detective in charge of the investigation. Yes, she had not been married long, and yes she had reservations before getting married - but her lack of distraught and the fact she is smiling and laughing with the hero, shortly after her husband's murder was Continue Reading

Review: Cowboy Up by Harper Sloan and Giveaway!

December 19, 2017 by Mandi 15 Comments

Cowboy Up by Harper Sloan (Coming Home #3) Released: December 19, 2017 Contemporary Romance Simon and Schuster Reviewed by Mandi Favorite Quote:  "I knew it was time to cowboy up the second my good girl gave me her bad and together we made magic." The third and final book in this trilogy featuring the Davis siblings - and I licked up this book like it was made from sugar. Listen - it's sappy. It's over the top in the emotional department. There is insta love and an over protective Continue Reading

Hero: Matthew Walsh. Architect and Structural Engineer. Has no life outside of work. He is a bit of a dirty talker and likes to bite. Rawr. Heroine: Lauren Halstead. Passionate teacher trying to open her own school. Hires a sexy architect to help her. Turns out he is a very good architect, and also really good in bed. Win-win, Lauren.   "Oh my God," she gasped, her hands seizing my hair. I leaned back and aimed a hard gaze at her. "God has nothing to do with this. You want to Continue Reading
