Jane O'Reilly writes very erotic novellas, and she often times reminds me of Charlotte Stein. I think if she had longer to tell her story, I would really fall for her voice (I think both of these stories are less than 100 pages). The sex is hot, yet I need a little more time to really engage with her characters. If you are looking for quick, very steamy reads, she might just be the author for you. The following two novellas can be read as standalones. My favorite of hers is Continue Reading

Edged Blade by JC Daniels (Colbana Files #4) Urban Fantasy Released: February 3, 2015 Self Published Reviewed by May I’d dealt with more abuse in my life than most people had ever heard of – I’d come to grips with what my family had done and generally dealt with it in odd ways. Risking It All by Tessa Bailey (Crossing the Line #1) Contemporary Romance Released: January 27, 2015 Entangled Reviewed by Mandi I was really happy to see that this book is a full length, unlike the category length this author sometimes publishes. We get to spend more time with the hero and heroine and really learn their story. And what a fun story it is. Sera Newsome was a nurse but after her police officer brother was murdered in south Brooklyn, she became a cop in his honor. She Continue Reading
Review: Beyond Limits by Laura Griffin
Beyond Limits by Laura Griffin (Tracers #8) Released: January 27, 2015 Romantic Suspense Pocket Books Reviewed by Mandi Laura Griffin can write really good suspense. In previous books I've read, her bad guys are BAD. Her heroes and heroines are smart and the books are always action-packed. My one complaint has always been the lack of romance. There is always a HEA, but the road to romance is not always super sexy or detailed. I've actually skipped her last couple because reviews have Continue Reading
