Going through all the books I've read this year and picking favorites was hard. There were a few surprises, it seems enemies-to-lovers romances has moved up my favorite trope list, and I had a soft spot for quirky PNR/Fantasies this year. Kate H’s Favorite Books of 2022
I didn't plan this, but I think 90% of the books I read in 2022 were m/m romances. Season's Change by Cait Nary is probably what kicked it off. There's a lot of variation within m/m, just like in romance in general and I have hundreds of books yet to read. I can’t believe the year is almost over. I feel like every month since March 2020 has been a bit of a blur. Goodreads tells me I only read 60 books this year. WAY below my goal.
