I don't do a lot of cover reveals at Smexy but this cover and series holds a very special place in my reading heart. Back in August 2009, when Smexy Books was still a wee babe, I read and reviewed The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker. I fell in love with Percy and Alexi and their friends. One of the reasons I read this book in the first place is that Leanna related Alexi, the hero, to Alan Rickman who I adore. The romance is swoon-worthy and adorable and the story itself Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten–July 27th
10. Top Ten might look a little different today. I can’t keep going willy nilly with the copy and pasting of images. No matter how hairy the moobs are! I can’t just throw images onto this post. They are not my images to share. (read more here). BUT – I can still link to hairy moobs. And, (I think) I can still post movie/tv stills (OMG Matt Bomer above! Go HERE to see much more), movie posters, and sites like US Magazine that has a ‘share’ button, I may use those images. So there will be Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–May 13th
10. My Week – Well, I saw Thor on Mother’s Day. Happy day to Smexy indeed. I went with the intent of drooling over Chris Hemsworth, but I actually ended up loving the movie (I drooled a lot too). A really fun story. And Thor’s blue eyes and scruffy smile didn’t hurt either ;) Later in the week, I found myself alone in Walmart in the toy aisle perusing the Thor merchandise. I might need a Thor action figure for a future skit. He will represent one of the BDB boys, right? 9. Thursday May 26th, Continue Reading

10. My week – Hmmm..what did I do this week. I took my MIL to a wine bar for the first time. (for her, not for me..HA!) And I bought tickets to see Brandon Flowers in Atlantic City. It’s a win win for me and the hubs – he loves AC, and I love…well…you know who. ;) Hot tub update - We now realize the brick patio the hot tub is going to be sitting on needs to be supported with concrete.
