Angela: Hold on tight... I have a LIST. I feel like every book I want to read this year releases in October. (So many I'm not even going to list them all here.) The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab 10/6 Fantasy- I've actually already read this one, simply because I couldn't resist. AND IT WAS FABULOUS. This is a story of a woman who makes a deal with the devil in order to be free and have nothing holding her down, only she doesn't exactly get what she expects. No one remembers Continue Reading
Angela’s Minis- Reviews for books by T. Kingfisher and Ella Maven
I discovered that T. Kingfisher was releasing another book in her Temple of the White Rat world when I was putting together the new release post. To say I was excited would be an understatement, I hit that pre-order one-click button so hard. This author has quickly become one of my favorites in the fantasy genre and I will set aside everything else when I see she has a new release. Paladin’s Grace is heavier on the romance (which I loved) than the other books set in this world. The Clockwork Continue Reading
Angela’s Minis- Book Reviews for books by Lisa Kleypas and Simone St. James
Chasing Cassandra is the sixth book in the Ravenels series by Lisa Kleypas and I couldn't wait to read Tom and Cassandra's love story. From glancing at the ratings and reviews on Goodreads I think I'm the only reader in Romancelandia who didn't absolutely love this book. LOL. Not that I didn't enjoy my time spent reading, because I did, but it didn't blow me away. Tom and Cassandra meet by chance at her sister Poppy's wedding and it is lust at first sight for Tom. Cassandra on the other hand Continue Reading

Aurora Blazing by Jessie MihalikThe Consortium Rebellion #2Science Fiction RomanceOctober 1, 2019 by Harper VoyagerARC As I'm sure everyone who reads my reviews (or deals posts every time it goes on sale) by now knows, I ADORED the first book in this series, Polaris Rising. I still get chills when I think of the first meeting between Loch and Ada. And the tension between Ada's sister Bianca the family head of security Ian Bishop left me on greedy for more. I loved the heroine, Bianca. Continue Reading
Angela’s Monday Mornings
Clockwork Boys and The Wonder Engine by T. Kingfisher Clocktaur War books 1 & 2 Fantasy Favorite Quote: "Would you like to go on a suicide mission?" she asked instead. He smiled. It was the first genuine smile she'd seen all day. "I would be honored," he said. I one-clicked both of these books after reading this blurb: A paladin, an assassin, a forger, and a scholar ride out of town. It’s not the start of a joke, but rather an espionage mission with deadly serious stakes. T. Continue Reading
