It seems the 'Zon is making "improvements" by eliminating the way bloggers grab images from them for their sites. They only sent out an email 2 weeks before the end date, which is very little time to fix anything or figure out work arounds. Expect quite a few bloggers you enjoy having broken links, etc. when you visit their blogs. As for Smexy, this will affect the way the New Release post looks. Again. I'm back to my spreadsheet--which utilizes HTML. Next week I'll have everything Continue Reading

Tori’s Favorite Books of 2012
Choosing a favorite book is like choosing a body part I can’t live without. I need them all to survive. 2012 was a fabulous and turbulent year for bibliophiles and bookworms alike. We watched normally sane authors engage in dubious behavior, we saw FanFic hit the NY best sellers list, and we watched a few new genres appear while old favorites take a turn for the worse. I read over 500 books this year and found myself extremely hard pressed to pick just a few to share as my favorites. As you Continue Reading

Where Are All The Nice PNR Heroes?
Yesterday on Twitter we were talking about Lothaire, and Jane asked, where are the nice guys in PNR? There does seem to be a lot of bad boys out there. I love to see a bad boy be brought down by love. Lothaire has walked the Earth for centuries, always getting his way. I am amused by how his heroine Ellie makes him learn how to be unselfish (somewhat). Dmitri from Nalini Singh’s Archangel’s Blade is another very naughty hero. So wicked. Again, I love how he stays wicked throughout the book. Continue Reading

We are happy to have Carly Phillips at Smexy today for a chat! Tell us about yourself. I’m a stay at home mom who is lucky enough to write and publish contemporary romance. I have two teenage daughters, one is nineteen and away at college, the other is fifteen and needs constant driving to and from everywhere. When I’m home and not working, I’m at the beck and call of two dogs, a 4 year old wheaten terrier named Bailey and an eight month old Havanese named Brady. I’m married to a guy I met Continue Reading
