I think I have a new boyfriend (sorry Barrons and Adam Hauptman), his name is Curran and he can shapeshift into an eight foot lion. I am LOVING the “Magic” series by Ilona Andrews. I just finished the second book, Magic Burns, last night and I can’t wait to start the latest in the series, Magic Strikes tonight. Once I am done, I will be sure to write about the book and series in more depth.
I just saw two books that I must have – both by Carolyn Jewel.
Forbidden Desires, coming May 26th just got a 4.5 rating from Romantic Times and a Top Pick! The summary from Amazon:

Also, over on Katibabs’ site – she has the cover for Indiscreet, coming this October. That cover is hot!! I read Scandal when it came out in February, and it was an amazing historical romance. I highly recommend it.
Embarrassing story: When writing a comment on Joanna Bourne’s wall on Facebook, I told her how much I loved Scandal…I went on and on and on about it. Joanna Bourne did not write Scandal..duh!! She wrote Spymaster’s Lady, another favorite of mine. Can we just insert my foot into my big mouth now!!! How embarrasing!!! I finally realized my mistake and wrote back apologizing. She was very kind about the whole thing!

I LOVE LOVE Carolyn Jewel. Her novel ‘Scandal’ was simply amazing from start to finish and I’m so excited for ‘Indiscret’.

Scandal is the first I have read from Carolyn Jewel but I loved it. I need to go back and get some of her previous work!

I have a copy of Carolyn Jewel’s My Forbidden Desire. I won an ARC sometime and it showed up in the mail a few weeks ago. I didn’t know I won it :). I figure when I won the first book, the contest must have also been for an ARC of the second when she gets them.
