Unfortunately, I could not get into the JR Ward chat last night. I tried along with a couple hundred (at least) other people and the chat room was frozen forever and then we all got locked out. I think a chat actually occurred, not sure with how many people:) So I will have to wait for the transcript to come out in a few days to find out what happened. Her message board was filled with so many people unhappy that they were frozen out. It was kind of funny towards the end. I don’t think the moderators of the chat were expecting as many people to show, and the software was just not able to keep up.
JR Ward did visit her message boards before the chat and answered a couple questions:
– Lassiter has a sister that is missing.
– She is not sure if Qhuinn will get his own book, she might just carry him as a side story through several books.
– Now that Rehv is king of sympaths, he will probably step down as Council Leahdyre, but she says you’ll have to see what happens.
When the transcript comes out I will be sure to pass along anything else we learn.
In Nalini Singh news, she has posted a new short story on her website that takes place sometime after Mine to Possess (which is my all-time fav book of hers!). She also has the blurb to Blaze of Memory and she said she updated her behind-the-scenes page. She just found out she is contracted to write four more psy-changeling books and two more in her Guild Hunter series!!!
Ilona Andrews has recently said the fourth Kate Daniels books will be tentatively be called Magic Bleeds and will come out in June 2010. She also released the prologue of that book earlier this week on her blog. I wanted a different outcome to that dinner!! However, Curran and Kate were not ready for a nekkid dinner date quite yet :)

Lassiter has become one of my favorite characters in the books mainly because of the buildup of his characters on the boards. So does that mean Lassiter’s sister is a fallen angel also? I wonder how many more books Ward has planned for the BDB series.

ooh..good question. I have no idea how he is going to play into the BDB world. What is his purpose? Maybe if I actually could have CHATTED with her I could have asked ;)

I am awaiting the transcript as well… I really love her chat, but it is too draining to go through this manic situation time and time again….. it's aging me(LOL)…
