I just started Eve of Darkness this weekend and whoa it is a good read. Those Cain and Abel brothers are quite steamy! The third in the series, Eve of Chaos comes out June 30th.
I’ve been wanting to try Vicki Pettersson for awhile now so I snatched them up at ACRead. I have no idea what they are about so it will be fun to dive right in.
I won this book for being one of the first five tweeters to respond to a giveaway. Addicted to Twitter, who me?
Confession time – I’ve never read Elizabeth Hoyt.
After reading Revealed, and soaking in all its yummy goodness, I had to buy Kate Noble’s first book, Compromised.
I’ve read a couple of reviews online for this, plus I like the cover.
Did we all watch True Blood last night? First of all (spoilers!!) thank goodness Lafayette is alive!! If I remember correctly, he dies in the second book – not to say he won’t kick it this season, but he was one of my favorites from the first season. And thank goodness Eric FINALLY showed up in the last minutes. What was up with the foils in his hair? Seriously funny moment…makes me giggle just thinking about it. He is one ruthless dude though, right? My friends (really just my mother) can’t believe I like Eric more than Bill. Um, hello! Eric is bad ass. Bill is all “oh Sookie..I love you, I will be all mushy for you.” Eric just rips peoples throats out and moves on. Good start to the season!
Ooh, that contemporary book by Julie James is on my wishlist too! Let me know how it was, when you've read it!
TOO TASTE TEMPTATION is a great way to start reading Elizabeth Hoyt! I am addicted to her writing!

And I don't watch True Blood! I tried. But I just don't like the blood. Different to read it than it is to watch it.

Bill is a "gentleman (albeit a vampire one!) Eric just looks out for Eric, besides Bill is ten times cuter!
I haven't read any of those books – my TBR list is getting longer! So glad True Blood is back! My friend came over to watch and kept asking who my fictional boyfriend was and pointing out guys, of course when Eric finally came onscreen he had the foils in his hair and my friend was just "What, that's your boyfriend?"

As for True Blood, omg..it was great! I agree with you, Eric is so much more bad ass than Bill..and so much better looking in my honest opinion. I love the bad boy, and Bill is not him..lol.

Nice load of books. I really enjoyed the Eve of Darkness. I have Eve of Destruction but I'm going to wait and read when Eve of Chaos comes out. So, I can read them together.
I haven't read any of the Vicki Pettersson books but I'm participating an Autograph Game. The book being passed around is A Scent of Shadows. I can't wait for my turn to read it, which should be soon.
I'm Team Eric myself, on the show and in the books! Like you, I prefer the tough guy versus the sweet and mushy one. ;)
