The second season of True Blood starts this Sunday, 9pm on HBO. This series is based on Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse books. The ninth book in that series, Dead and Gone was just released last month.
We left off last season with Bill turning Jessica, a young woman into a vampire, and although he did it against her wishes, she now embraces it and likes to call Bill “dad.” She was too much for Eric to handle so he left her with Bill. Sookie has revoked Bill’s invitation to her house. Tara and Sam are going to be in big trouble with Maryann. Was that Lafayette’s dead leg sticking out of the car at the end of the episode?
I wonder how many more sex scenes we will have to watch with Jason? I say Eric needs some nekkid air time ;) Pam, Eric’s friend is one of my favorites too!

Pam doesn't get much book time but Jason didn't in book one and look how much we got of him on air. Tara too!
I couldn't agree more with you about Jason. I think we've seen in practically every position, lol! Yeah, I'm ready for Season 2, I would love to see more of Eric. I'm definitely in the Eric camp and my tent is all setup!

Ladybug – The last episode in the first season? I would say the entire first season was loosely based on the first book. It looks like some of the events in the second season will come from the second book..but there are big differences.
I've only read the first three.
