I couldn’t properly call this blog Smexy Books without talking about my favorite naughty scenes this year – and oh have our authors been naughty. Let’s face it – I have read a lot of sex this year, and there have been many scenes that have made me turn the fan on extra high. It was hard but I picked out my ten favorite, and I am just giving you a quick taste of the lovin’ going on. I not only chose them for their downright dirty talk, but also because I fell in love with the book and the characters as a whole. The hot smexin’ is just icing on the cake.
Note: If you have not read the Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs, The Fever series by Karen Marie Moning, or The Dark Tide by Josh Lanyon, I am warning you of spoilers!!
Skin Game – Ava Gray
Reyes and Krya:
This is the sexiest Paranormal Romance I have read this year. Reyes and Kyra have many steamy scenes, but their first time together is my favorite.
By the time Rey returned, she’d teased herself to quivering readiness. Just as he’d asked, she lay on the cool white sheets, naked. When he pushed open the door, she lifted her fingers to her lips.

Although not the steamiest scene, Adam and Mercy take that big step in their relationship and it is such a sweet tender moment. Adam may be my fictional lover, but he is damn good to Mercy.

In full animal mode, he growled and swiped at it with his fangs.

Bones and Cat:
We all know and love Chapter 32 from One Foot in the Grave (and if you aren’t familiar with it, drop what you are doing and find it right away). However, Bones is just damned sexy in every book. The scene in particular in this book that stood out is after they reconcile from their awful fight *sob*.
