True Blood

There a couple of new additions to my favorite vampire show on television, True Blood.

Joe Manganiello, best know for his role on One Tree Hill, has been cast as Alcide Herveaux, the werewolf that helps Sookie track down Bill in book (and season) three. Think he growls as good as he looks?

Theo Alexander has been cast as Talbot, the boyfriend of the vampire king of Mississippi, Russell Edgington. This makes my male/male smutty heart thump extra hard. I mean – look at him. Pair him up with another man (do we know who is playing Russell yet?) and HOT…DAMN.

And of course, I can’t forget ASkars, my most favorite bad boy vamp on tv. I hear (and when I say “hear” I mean I read it on Perez..hehe) that Natascha Alam, a soap Star will be a new lady friend for Eric this year. Perez says they don’t waste any time getting to the “juicy” stuff. Oh Yes.

Dexter

My mouth is still hanging open over the last 30 seconds in the Dexter season finale. I won’t say what happened in case there are some who still need to watch it..but WTF?!? How will things progress next season? Is next season the final season?

My husband has been addicted to this show since day one but it took a lot of convincing on his part for me to watch it. The first time he made me sit down and watch it, we were eating fondue, and as I skewered a piece of raw beef to cook, Dexter was drilling a hole in someone. I couldn’t do it. But I tried again later and now I am totally addicted. John Lithgow was amazing this season – he totally creeped me out.

Lost

Finally, my most anticipated show, Lost is about ready to start its final season. I am sad that it is almost over, but excited to get ALL the answers and see more of this guy –

Lost resumes, February 2nd.

I'm a fan of all of the above, but I thank you for not spoiling the end of Dexter-I have to wait for it and True Blood to come out on DVD!

I am a Dexter and Lost fan, totally. I was a True Blood fan, but honestly the last part of last season was so over the top I am just not sure anymore. It may be approaching "too cheezy and wierd" for me, such a shame because the books are so awesome.

I still need to watch the Dexter season finale.

I think Owen (Joe) from One Tree will make a nice Alcide in TrueBlood. I can't wait for it to come back on. Creepy or not still ASkar is too hot to miss.

I can't wait for the new season of True Blood. I just finished reading Club Dead and absolutely loved Alcide's character! Can't wait to see what Alan Bell does with his story line.

I haven't watched Dexter since the first season and I feel like I've really missed out. I'm gonna have to catch up when it comes out on DVD. The season finale of Californication aired Sunday. It was meh. The show is funny and sexy. Love it! The new season of Big Love premieres on Jan. 10th. Last season was SO good. Can't wait to see how they are going to top it!

I'm still 3 epis behind with Dexter. Hubby and I are going to snuggle up and watch our fave anti-hero this weekend. I really just wish he'd kill Rita, but we can't always get what we want can we? I liked her so much better as the quiet, damaged little freak who hated to be touched. I know, it's wrong, but it's true.

I haven't watched TB since the whole vegan vampire ordeal. I'm a huge fan of the books. But to be honest, the series was take it or leave it for me.

I do have my small screen vices though. Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries among them… Maybe it's a hot brother thing? Menage fantasy fuel I guess you could say.

I kinda heard what happened at the end of Dexter, BUT since I've only watched about 5 episodes, it didn't totally wreck my day.

I specifically ordered Showtime for The Tudors, and then I started getting into Dexter (short-lived). That is, until they took all of the seasons off of on-demand of Dexter…*sigh* So now I'm trying to hunt up free episodes online to get caught up!

I think Joe Manganiello is inspired casting for Alcide!
Alcide started out as being one of my favorite characters in the Sookie-verse, but over the coures of a few books he turned into a bit of a jerk. Still, Joe is going to be *awesome*!

I can't wait for the next True Blood season to start up. I like their picks for Alcide and Talbot (especially those lips!!!).

I've been hook on Glee. Go figure that one… but I just love this show. It's one of those feel-good shows with all of the singing.

I have to confess I don't know any of these shows. Sure I've heard about them… but I've never watched one epi! But I'm interested in True Blood though, does that count? I just don't think it's been aired in the Netherlands, so I have to go on a hunt for the dvd :)

ASkars totally makes True Blood as far as I'm concerned.

I only saw the first season of Dexter when they re-played it on network TV because I don't have Showtime. It was really good, though.
