Smexy’s Top Ten – April 25th

April 25, 2014 by Mandi 30 Comments

wine10. Earth Day was this week. That’s a damn good reason.

temptation9. A few cover reveals this week. Gena Showalter’s June release, Temptation in Shadows. Go to Heroes & Heartbreakers for more information.

festive

And Festive in Death, releasing September 9.

Elementary
8. I LOVE this list of gifs that describe book lovers. They pretty much all relate to me. Thanks Thea Harrison for posting this!

diver7. I mean – It IS almost summer. And this IS the top ten. So let’s all stare at the Austrian diver, Constantin Blaha. Is it time for the summer olympics yet????

jdepp6. Johnny Depp and his cat twin.

rgos

Ryan Gosling and his…

ctatum

Is anyone else purring? I feel like I should pose my cat into someone today… (link)

5. People are weird y’all. I like it.

4. A couple of days ago, my girlfriend told me to take this personality test. I remember having to take the same test during high school for some class and how completely spot on the results are. So I took it again, and again was amazed at how accurate the results portray me. You should do it with a family member or significant other so you can analyze each other afterwards.

Note: After you take the test, go HERE (scroll down) to find the four letter personality result the test gave you. Don’t pay on the testing site to be analyzed.

My husband and I discussed our results over breakfast this morning. I’m a Nurturer. We got a laugh over “and are likely to be more interested in serving their partner than in their own personal satisfaction.” I’m SO selfless you guys! ;) If you take the test, tell me what you are in the comments.

antelope3. zomg. A baby dwarf antelope, known as a Klipspringer was born at the Chicago Zoo last month. It will grow to be a whopping 24 pounds (that’s less than my pug weighs! *hangs head*). SOMEONE BUY ME THIS IMMEDIATELY.

2. Your weekly cute. I dare you not to smile. :)

moab1. We went on vacation to a big crack last week. *giggle* No, we went to Moab, Utah and fell in love. We did Arches National park and took a guided hike through the Fiery Furnace (where the above pic was taken). We also went to Canyonlands – and zomg. The views all felt so surreal. I survived the rapids rafting down the Colorado River and a hummer trip over petrified sand dunes. My courage was tested! But it was fun :) We can’t wait to go back. If you have a chance to head out that way – doooooooo it!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Took personality test. Said I was an ISFP. I’m supposedly very independent, fiercely resists all forms of control, introverted but at same time spontaneous, unpredictable, and charming. :) Heh. It’s a personality type most often found in artistic peeps.

I’m a ESTJ (a guardian) friendly, upbeat, responsible, practical, dependable and not personally threatened by conflict or criticism. But on the other hand apparently I think I’m always right and need to be in charge all the time. Lol.

Jordin Tootoo has been a favourite for a long time, and an inspiration for many of my students. Dude has overcome tremendous odds, and despite some fierce on-ice behaviour he’s a stand-up guy. Someone write a romance novel about him already!

I got ISFJ-apparently highly introverted and sensative but I don’t use my intuition well and I judge more that rely on actual perception. I don’t know how accurate that is….though.

Great top ten and awesome picture in the crack.

I watched the hockey .gif like 17 times until I was almost teary! So adorable! What the heck was the player’s name though? TOOTOO???

The Scientist: 100% introvert. huh, never would have guessed that! *snort* Loved this under weakness: “May tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, rather than the desired emotional support”. My immediate response was: Well, why come to me with a problem if you don’t want me to solve it? heehee.

    LOOOVED the hockey gif <3

Glad you had fun on your trip. We just had my brother and his family stay with us on the last leg of their outback adventure. I was a little jealous :-) the next trip will be us visiting them so yay!

I’m ISFJ and a nurturer. No big surprises there. The husband is ENFP, and both descriptions were pretty much spot-on about us.
