Smexy’s Top Ten
News from Mandi: Lead by Kylie Scott was fun! Not only is it sexy, but she writes the best humor. Tori reviewed it previously for Smexy and I have to agree with all she says. Bring on Ben!
I DNF’d Seven Souls by Elissa Stark. What started out fun and creepy with a small girl telling the heroine she was going to be in an accident– and then the heroine actually getting into one — turned into angels and demons and by 44%, no romance yet. None! Maybe one mention of the hero having a strong jaw line – but I needed more.
Uncover Me by AM Hartnett is a dirty, dirty book y’all. It reminds me of Jane O’Reilly if you are familiar with her. I’m reviewing this week. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
I’m currently reading Six of Hearts by LH Cosway and although I’ve just started, I can already feel this is going to be a good one. I’ll report back.
News From Tori: I believe I have the stomach flu or a cold or something that sucks so hopefully whatever I wrote below makes sense.
One Of Us by Tawni O’Dell-Review to come. Mystery thriller that addresses how the past always influences the future.
Love and Blarney by Zara Keane-Review to come. A sweet heartfelt novella that gives a second chance to a married couple on the brink of divorce.
Beyond Addiction by Kit Rocha-Review to come. Rocha continues to build her post apocalyptic world of sex and danger when a couple who was torn apart by addiction and lies find themselves back in each others lives and given a second chance at love.
Downfall by Rob Thurman– Review to come. Cal is being hunted by everyone and finds that giving in to his dark side may be the only thing that saves him and his brother this time around. Fans will love that Robin Goodfellow steps into the spotlight and tells us everything we have ever wanted to know.
Stories Beneath Our Skin by Veronica Sloan– A sweet heartfelt story about love, grief, and letting go of the past in order to grab hold your future.
Rock Addiction by Nalini Singh-Review to come. Fox and Molly burn the pages up as a lead singer for a famous rock band does everything he can to prove his and faithfulness love to a one burned-twice shy librarian.
You Own Me by Shiloh Walker– Review to come. Walker builds a dark and sexy second chance novella that deals with a man who spent 10 years in prison for the woman he loves. Now he’s out and he is determined he will not lose her this time around.
I’m currently reading Ever After by Kate SeRine.
News from Sheena: *Sips copious amounts of wine* Cheers to the freakin weekend! Hoping to spend Saturday reading a fantastic book (yet to be determined) and planning to spend Sunday on the beach! But that’s where I’m going, let’s chat about what I’ve been up to this week:

@ Sheena…Zeth. That’s all I’m sayin’. *sigh*
Just finished Lay It Down and I kind of felt like the cheese was missing from my sandwich. It was good! I love McKenna. But this one wasn’t as satisfying as her other f***ed up characters with their gritty small town lives.

I just finished Six of Hearts and I loved it! Admittedly, the plot at certain points required some suspension of disbelief, but overall I really liked it. The heroine is really relatable and I think I myself fell in love with Jay :-)

I’m almost done! I’m def enjoying
