8. Taking over my life this week, the New York Times posted an article suggesting we add peas to our guacamole. W…T…F???? Gucamole is one of my absolute favorite things. I make it about once a month to go along with dinner, and my family FIGHTS over it. It gets brutal at the dinner table. Peas will NEVER go near my guacamole. Ever. I can barely eat peas to begin with.

But this story didn’t just enrage me. Meme’s have been created of course. And The President of the USA even addressed it on twitter!

  7. Matt Bellassai might be my new favorite person. He works for Buzzfeed and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen him on Twitter, but this week I discovered every Wednesday he posts a short 3-4 minute drunken rant about something in his life. Why Instagram annoys him, why his friends annoy him, etc… He drinks a bottle of wine and then goes at it. He makes me laugh. A LOT. You can see all of his This Week on Whine About it videos here.  

6. Speaking of cocktails: There is a kickstarter for a Keurig type machine – but not for coffee – for booze! You add your liquor to the different reservoirs, put in a pod, push a button and you  have a drink. If you read this article, the reviews are not the greatest. BUT – maybe adjustments will be made before it’s made available to the public. Or maybe not.

5. David Beckham got a minion tattoo to make his daughter happy. Damn it Becks!! Stop being so cute. However – my husband one up’d him last year when he made a minion sand sculpture. Take that Becks!!!
