Smexy’s Top Ten
New from Mandi: I loooooved Serving Pleasure by Alisha Rai. The heroine is so sexy. The hero is so sexy (a hermit painter). Their chemistry is HOT. Reviewing this week.
Other than that, summer vacation has been kicking my butt. My next books is Home by Morning by Kaki Warner. I love Kaki’s books. Historical westerns that make me smile :)
News for Tori: Carry Your Heart. A NA contemporary romance by debut writer K. Ryan. I liked both the protagonists and the story though the SOA feeling as strong. Review to come.
Him by Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen. From here on out, these two shall be referred to as Bowennedy. This fun, sweet, playful, bittersweet MM story of second chances and friends to lovers is super H.A.W.T.
Reed’s Reckoning by Ahran Sanders. A dramatic contemporary romance about second chances, secret babies, and an intriguing conflict.
Caged by Lorelei James. Fans will love seeing Deacon and Molly’s strength and tenacity as they find their way together down the rocky road of love. A bit heavy handed sexually, James builds a sexy love affair that reminded me quite a bit of her RR series character wise. Review to come.
Snakes Addiction by Sam Crescent. I’m a sucker for this series. Though formulaic right down to the requisite anal play and kidnapping scenes, there is something addictive about these hard as nail alpha bikers who become complete marshmallows when they meet the one meant for them.
Archangel’s Engima by Nalini Singh. The FEELZ! The HUMOR! The SUSPENSE! The DRAMA! It’s all here and more as Singh ushers us back into her urban fantasy world of subterfuge, violence, love, and friendship as this world struggles against an evil that could destroy them all. Review to come.
This holiday weekend I’m reading L.H. Cosway’s King of Hearts and Dirty Little Secrets by Erin Ashley Tanner. Also taking the kid and a friend to Warp Tour on Sunday. If you all don’t hear back from me Monday, send some hot marines. :P
