News from Mandi: I DNF’d two this week – Hunted by Marissa Garner is a romantic suspense that didn’t work for me. I didn’t like the author’s voice or the set-up of the book.

Exhibition by Nicolette Hugo is an erotic BDSM – just not for me. The BDSM stuff was just too much for me – others may enjoy.

I read Dirty Deeds by Megan Erickson and A Midnight Clear by Emma Barry and Genevieve Turner, both which I reviewed this week!

I’m currently reading Bite the Bullet Angela Louise McGurk – and so far I like it. I’m only at 30%. It has a little bit of a Merit/Ethan/Chloe Neill feel. The heroine is turned into a vampire without her consent and is pissed. The hero is broody. There are fun supporting characters. Hopefully it continues to be a fun read. I’ll report back

Tori’s News:

Magic Stars by Ilona Andrews–Fans won’t want to miss this installment. Set after Magic Shifts and told in Derek’s voice, we get an adventurous, fast-paced, action powered story that advances the arc, further builds on this incredible world, but most importantly gives us hints as to what’s to come. Magic Stars is an exhilarating AND informative read that only further fuels my need for the next book in the series-Magic Binds-set to release in 2016. My review here.

Act Like It by Lucy Parker-A fun, sexy, laugh out loud romance. It reminded me a little of Taming Of A Shrew-in this case the shrew being the hero. :P Well written with a delightful pace, witty dialogue, and dynamic full-bodied characters. I will definitely be looking for more from Ms. Parker in the future.

Priest: A Love Story by Sierra Simone-Priest is a visually sensual taboo erotic romance. A Catholic priest struggles to understand his commitment to the church, God, and himself when he indulges in a physical relationship with a parishioner. Light BDSM, kink, and explicit sexual scenes (think alter sex). I had some issues with the heroine but not enough to truly bother me. There is a follow up book. SQUEEEEEEEEEE

With This Bling by L.B. Gregg-Though it’s been 5 years, Gregg takes us back into Caesar and Dan’s lives like we never left. Still in love and as unpredictable as ever, Caesar stumbles into danger though he is helped along by his family, best friend, and a few new faces from Dan’s past. Fast pacing, witty dialogue, and a few wardrobe mishaps will leave you rolling with laughter over this sweet and sexy romance. Review to come.

Liam Takes Manhattan by Thea Harrison– As sweet short interlude back into the lives of the Cuelebre’s with some important updates on peanut and more clues for the next book. Liam is struggling with the events from Shadow’s End and takes some much needed steps to figure out his life and his place in it. A sweet coming of age story built within the Elder Races series. My review to come.

Im currently reading the Huntress by Alexandra Christian
