Mandi News:
Triple Score by Regina Kyle features a baseball star and a ballerina star in a physical rehab facility together after they both injure themselves. It’s annoyance at first sight – until they fall in love. I liked the second half much better than the first – I found their chemistry a little forced in the first half. Overall, this is a fun series by Kyle.
Fatal Identity by Marie Force – book 10 in this series but the first I’ve read – it follows the same heroine and her husband throughout – this read fine as a stand alone although I want to go back to the beginning because I enjoyed this one so much. Fabulous heroine – great story – I really enjoyed this. Review coming next week.
News from Tori:
Thunder Road by Sierra Dean is the first in her new series-Rain Chaser. A fast paced action packed fantasy series based on mythology that pits a sarcastic heroine indentured to the God of Storms against a host of minor and major deities to save the the life of a young man. Review to come.
Vodka On The Rocks Lani Lynn Vale is the third book in her Uncertain Saints series. Not bad though extremely formulaic. I really enjoyed Vale’s earlier works but have found lately they have all begun to read the same-just change the names and occupations.
Why Do Dukes Fall In Love by Megan Frampton–I always enjoy a historical romance that revolves around an older widow rather than an ingenue. Add in class barriers, society expectations, and smexy romance with a hero who doesn’t care about any of it and I’m hooked. Review to come.
Fury Rising by Yasmine Galenorn–Take one post apocalyptic Seattle, add in a cranky pantheon, the ultimate weapon of mass destruction, and a heroine to save the day and you have the first book in Galenorn’s newest fantasy series-Unbound Fury. A tightly wrapped bundle of action and magic, it does drag in the beginning due to the world building. Review to come.
I also did a complete re read of Shelly Laurenston Pride series. I love Laurenton’s PNRs. Fun, outrageous, high spirited stories that leave me laughing like a loon.
This weekend I have Jayne Ann Krentz’s Illusion Town.

Tripe Score, eh? Somehow,Mandi, I don’t think that’s what you intended to write! A second recommendation to reading the entire Fatal series; you really see the relationship grow between the main characters. FYI: One Night With You: A Fatal Series Prequel Novella is currently available free to Kindle readers.
Thunder Road sounds intriguing, Tori. I look forward to your review.
