News from Mandi:
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne features a bear shifter hero and his fate mate, who is a human that doesn’t know about shifters. The lions want the bears dead – a war is brewing – the heroine is in danger because the lions know she is important to the bears. It started cute but became pretty predictable. Review coming next week.
I DNF’d Tough Luck Hero by Maisey Yates – the hero’s bride never shows up on his wedding day, so he takes off to Vegas with a bridesmaid and they get really drunk and end up married. Due to silly reasons, they decide to stay married. The hero never seemed upset his bride didn’t show up – it didn’t make a lot of sense. Not a premise I enjoyed.
I’m half through Damaged Goods by Ainslie Paton and I like it. The hero broke his back and is now addicted to pain pills. The heroine is his employee, who also had the same injury and she tries to give him support and advice, but he is grumpy and won’t take it. I love a grumpy hero! I’ll report back.

News from Kini:
To Have and to Hold by Serena Bell– The latest in her series about men in the military. The hero has amnesia, a trope I adore. I wasn’t disappointed. Full review to be posted soon.
The Billionaire Bachelor by Jessica Lemmon– A feisty heroine enters into a marriage of convenience with a grumpy and closed off hero. What took me so long to read this because those are all things I love. I thought this was a fun take on the trope and enjoyed it.
I am about 40% in to Fly with Me by Chanel Cleeton. I picked this up last week when it went on sale. I like the story, interested to see an actual romance develop and not just lust. Although this does contain one of my biggest pet peeves in romance, name dropping brand names. I can’t explain why this irks me, it just does. I think that Noah’s sexiness is going to outweigh that annoyance. ;)

News from Tori: I haven’t read much this week. Been very busy with getting the kid back to school, working on our addition, and being in a sort of reading slump.
The Right Kind of Trouble by Shiloh Walker– The third in her MaKay trilogy, we finally learn who is targeting the McKays and while Moria left Gideon all those years ago. I enjoyed the mystery and reacquainting myself with the characters though I had issues with the heroine and her reasons for treating the hero like crap for 18 years. Review to come.
Roni Loren’s Wanderlust– Roni Loren never fails to impress me with her dynamic characters and erotically charged romances. Wanderlust is an emotional whirlwind of love, laughter. tears, and redemption. Read Sheena’s review here.
Hard to Serve by Laura Kaye–This novella delivers the goods and more in a short, erotic, full bodied BDSM romance that opens the door to a new spin off series while introducing us to one of the owners of a BDSM club and the submissive who figuratively ties him up in knots.
Top to Bottom by Delphine Dryden–Delphine Dryden offers readers an emotionally complex second chance romance wrapped in a lovely erotic package. A woman’s chance to open her own erotic club leads to a reconciliation with an ex-lover. I loved the emphasis on vanilla sex and
Wild Licks by Cecilia Tan-This book has it all. Emotional angst, drama, and a seemingly impossible romance are just the tip of the iceberg for a couple whose dark erotic desires can either bring them together in the ultimate salvation or drive them apart forever.
Bound Beneath His Pain by Stacey Kennedy–Fans of Stacey Kennedy’s Club Sins series will enjoy this spin off. An epic romance builds between a man determined to retain all the control and the one woman who has the ability to make him lose it. Light BDSM elements flavors the storyline though it isn’t as defining in the relationship as you would expect from this author.
This weekend I’m reading Sophie Jordan’s Hell Breaks Loose and Molly O’Keefe’s Burn Down The Night.
