IT specialist Cora Benning has figured out the key to her formerly disastrous love life—make it virtual. In the online world of Hayven, she’s free of her geek girl image and can indulge her most private fantasies with a sexy, mysterious master without anyone in her life discovering her secrets. Until her information is hacked and she finds herself working to fix the breach under two very powerful men—one who seems all too familiar…
Best friends and business partners Ren Muroya and Hayes Fox were once revered dominants. Then Hayes was wrongfully sent to prison and everything changed. Ren wants to get back to who they were. Hayes can’t risk it. But when they discover the new IT specialist is their online fascination, and that she’s never felt a dominant’s touch, the temptation to turn virtual into reality becomes all too great…
Favorite Quote:
Dangerous men scare me. And I’m fascinated. After years of being mostly ignored, of failing the dating game, of making high art of being put in the friend zone, I want to know what it’s like to be someone else. To not play it safe. To be desired.
W-H-Y does this author write to my very soul!?! And my soul’s kind of a bitch- so Roni’s kind of kicking ass to have me in such fangirling straits. Loving You Easy is the ninth entry in Loren’s amazingly sexy Loving on the Edge series, a series that explores taboo and edgy kink in the most accessible yet exciting way. In this latest release, Cora is living a double life. Her real-physical life in complete contrast to her daringly sexy virtual persona. A submissive (yeeeeep, right all up in, through, up, down and around my kind of kink!) whose greatest desire is about to come true. Ren and Hayes are sexy dominants who light a fire in Cora, the likes of which I thought would never wane. This novel starts at ten and keeps up the suspense, sexy (oh, but the sexy!) from start to finish. As a matter of fact, the fiber optics on the cover are an uncanny and perfect illustration of my own frenetic nerves and fired up synapses. In a word, I was lit!
I want to use all of my words to convey how deep, engaging, clever and thought provoking Loving You Easy is. It is never kink for kink-ness sake with Loren. There is character development that makes you take a long look in the mirror and plot devices that have you on the edge. Of? You name it. Your seat. Reason. Passion. Desire. A cliff. If you can feel it- Roni can take you there. In Loving You Easy, there are real life consequences coupled with wins and losses that make you cheer and weep for these magnetic characters (hello Ren, you sexy beast).
I want to tell you everything. I want to tell you nothing. Roni always does this to me, sadist that she is and I always embrace the angst- masochist that I am; the urges to both whore and horde this book a fire in my soul, burning me down to the fiber of my very being!
You think I kid? Have you met me? I fawking love these books!
Which brings me back to lucidity- these post-new Loren-novel lucid moments are fleeting- so pay attention and listen up!
There is a looming suspense that is particularly dark and anchors all the extremely hot and sensual- menaging Dom/Sub action flying about. And before you put on your granny panties and turn tail, the Dom/Sub play in this novel is tasteful and not at all intimidating to even the most casually interested reader. Your sensibilities will not be wrecked and you will escape without a scratch. Maybe just some reddened cheeks, but that’s all par for the course *wink*
Cora’s voice was oddly strong, despite her wallflower existence and minimal self-confidence. I was sad for her and I wanted to pour into her, allow her to siphon whatever she needed to get through the next scene. Imagine my intense pride when she not only proved she could hold her own, she brought powerful doms to…well, not quite to heel but to her alter of sensual worship and learned to bask in their attentions. And yes, that is just a fancy way to say she got two guys off at the same time when she’s gone all this time thinking she was unbecoming. Cora may have been inexperienced in the ways of sexually wicked men, but she had a mind attuned to pleasure and it was amazing to see her blossom.
Now, this story is not all about Cora’s reality vs.virtual awakening. Ren and Hayes have a whole lotta dark and sexy going on.
Ren gave Hayes one last lingering look. The man was a sight. Up. Down. Up. Down. Grunting like he was fucking. One hand behind his back. A man on an endless mission.
Ren’s cock began to take notice. He shook his head, adjusting the front of his jeans…he didn’t need to travel down that mental road again.
Perfect time for a disclaimer. I am usually too jealous natured to really enjoy polyamory. It’s all fun and smutty games when they all hop into bed and climb all over one another. But before you know it I’m all riled up, side-eyeing my perceived interloper and projecting my own shit onto the characters. Then the next thing you know, I’m spitting mad when my chosen two of the three don’t make it to HEA utopia. And don’t even think about a poly HEA. Hell to the! I, however, had no doubt that Roni wouldn’t lead me astray and I was more than pleased with the ending. There is too much nuance to really tell you what this book was about. Primarily because it was about so many things. Self-discovery. Redemption. Trust. Love. Self- esteem, privacy, and friendship. Loving you Easy is a stand alone bombshell. Brand new readers and die-hards alike can find their footing- just fine, jumping right in with this ninth book. It blows hot and goes dark, but is never off-putting or negatively gratuitous. The relationship between Ren and Hayes is cemented and integral to the story in a way that makes me want to petition the President for a National Roni Loren Day. She never phones it in! So much thought and intent that must go into her work. The fruits of her labor are so very indicative of a true artist perfecting their craft.
If I tell you more, you’ll have to kill me- for spoiling the experience and I respect our relationship far too much for that. Plus who will I squee with if I give you all the deets? Pro Tip. Keep the Kleenex close. My tears were jerked right out of my sockets.
This is right up there on my Best of 2016 (thus far) list. Roni definitely taught an old troupe new tricks and I assure you this is unlike any (light-weight) BDSM novel you’ve ever read. And if it wasn’t abundantly clear, allow me to try and break it down for you.
Ahem. Roni Loren bathes in the squees of a million fangirls. She wears our euphoric glee as body glitter, running her fingers through our frayed nerves while tapping her feet to our pounding hearts.
Thank me later.

Ben, you really hit it with that one! Everytime we go to a restaurant they’re full and I say “So what’s this about the economy and nobody having any money??” We’re professional campaign consultants in Winston-Salem, NC, and had just begun a $1.75 million church campaign when everything took a downturn. By stressing kingdom first giving (combined with a whole lot of prayer!) the campaign reached goal and was more successful than we could ever have hoped. Thanks for your always great insight!
