News from Tori:
Fallen Heir by Erin Watt, the 4th in The Royals series, is the usual melodrama YA that revolves around the middle son. Brimming with the usual humor, drama, smexy times- Watt also addresses some serious issues as they try to guide Easton to adulthood in the least painful way. Too bad this family makes nothing easy. Enjoyable but be forewarned there’s a doozy of a cliffhanger.
Tarnished Crown by Erin Watt. #4.5 in The Royal series is Gideon (the eldest Royal) and his ex girlfriend’s Samantha’s story. If you read the first 3 of the series, you’ll remember why this couple broke up (drama llama) but Gideon is anything if not determined and he goes all out to prove to Sam and the world of his love for her. A very sweet and humorous short story. Free read.
Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas. Kleypas does it again as she builds a delightfully reluctant romance between a man who has everything and a woman who wants nothing from him. 4.5 stars.
Archangel’s Viper by Nalini Singh. Fans will rejoice in finally getting Viper’s story. Despite the impressive narration,well- structured plot lines, and interesting couple match up, the romance is slow to start and the storyline seemed to have trouble at times deciding on what is important and what is fluff. Review to come.
Hard Compromise by Samanthe Beck. Book 2 in Beck’s Compromise series, this story is a very sexy second chance romance between a cop (brother to the heroine from Book 1) and a woman he waited ten years for. The prickly nature of the heroine is the perfect foil for this alpha hero and his need to make this woman his. Still only $.99 on AMZ.
Sin by Emma Hart. The first in her Vegas Night series is a battle of the sexes when a pushy alpha who always gets what he wants comes up against the one woman who is able to resist him and his money. The premise promised a sexy and energetic antagonistic romance but what I got was a lot of one liners and very little action or chemistry. I DNF’d. Review to come.
I’m currently reading Deacon by Kit Rocha.

News from Kini:
I read Beard in Mind by Penny Reid. It is the fourth in the Winston Bros series. Heroine suffers from mental illness and that seemed to be fairly well depicted. The hero, Beau, is one of the younger Winstons. I enjoyed this book. This series does a good job of being funny and serious.
I started Saving Mr. Perfect by Tamara Morgan. I read and reviewed the first book in this series earlier this year. The heroine is a jewel thief and the hero is an FBI agent. It’s a fast-paced book, but I am already wishing there was more between the couple and less caper.

News from Mandi: The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare is a very cute romance featuring a scarred hero duke, a seamstress heroine, and a marriage of convenience. You will smile and swoon. Review coming.
A Hero to Love by Gail Chianese fell flat for me. It has a Navy hero whose K-9 gets injured and the heroine is the base’s vet – but it was a big miss for me. Review coming.
