Smexy’s To-Be-Read List
Smexy’s Top Ten
News from Tori: Still behind and most of what I read I reviewed this week. My 2018 resolution is to catch up. :)
Fans will cheer Juliet Lyons‘ latest couple as they fight, fuss, and yes, XXX their way to their HEA in the 3rd book of her Bite Me series-Killer Smile My review will appear at RT Book Reviews.
Flames in the Dark by Faith Hunter is the 3rd in her Soulwood series and once again offers readers a thrilling story with a unique heroine.
This weekend I am reading Roomies by Christina Laurens and Heart Sight by Robin D. Owens.
News from Kini: I had a busy reading week.
Most Eligible Bastard by Annika Martin– This was a new to me author and I enjoyed the book. I felt like they fell in lust/love a little quick, but I still enjoyed this story.
The Lady of Royale Street by Thea DeSalle– I picked this up a while back and finally got around to reading it. I wasn’t buying the H/H of this story needing to save the wedding for their friends. There was too much from other characters that I wasn’t invested in, so this was a DNF for me.
So Over You by Kate Meader– Book two in her hockey series and I really enjoyed this. Full review to be posted soon.
Hate to Want You by Alisha Rai– I am way late to the party on this, but I finally read it. I felt it got bogged down by side characters/family members that I had a hard time keeping track of. I was pretty invested in the main couple. I look forward to reading book two soon.
On audio, I listened to Keeping Score (The Perfect Play #2) by Sara Rider. I really, really like this series. Diverse characters, the heroine is Chinese-Canadian, the hero is Peruvian. She’s prickly and stubborn and he’s the perfect balance of alpha and kind. If you are looking for sports romance but maybe something slightly different, I think this series might be for you.
Reading this week- Man Hands by Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby and Love on the Tracks by Tamsen Parker
