Angela: I have some great ARCs to read this month and I’m going to try to and fit in a few from my TBR pile as well.
Protect the Prince by Jennifer Estep 7/2- I also had this on last month’s TBR post because I got the release date mixed up. Maybe I have too many ARCs sitting on my Kindle. LOL. Anyway, I loved the first book in the series and can’t wait to get back to this world.
Stolen Desire by Robin Lovett 7/15 – If you love SUPER sexy sci-fi romance and you aren’t reading this series, then you need to get on that one-click button ASAP. This is the third book and we finally get to see Koviye (who is referred to as a sex god by his people) and Jenie (leader of the rebellion) find their HEA.
Sweep of the Blade (Innkeeper Chronicles #4) by Ilona Andrews 7/16– I’ve already read the free newsletter version but, I’m super excited to finally be able to read it all at once and with expanded scenes. I adore every single thing about this series.
One Fine Duke by Lenora Bell 7/23 – I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by this author since her debut and she’s found a place on my auto-buy list. This is the third book in the School for Dukes series and features Miss Mina Penny and Andrew, Duke of Thorndon.
Spellbound by Allie Therin 7/29 – I have never read this author, but as soon as I read the blurb I knew I had to get my hands on a copy of this book. It’s a M/M historical paranormal mystery romance set in New York in 1925 and it sounds amazing. Click on the link to read the full synopsis.
Brazen and the Beast by Sarah MacLean 7/30– I mean it’s Sarah MacLean, OF COURSE she’s on my July reading list with her newest release, the second book in the Bareknuckle Bastards series. I’ve had this ARC sitting on my Kindle for a little while, but decided to save it when I had time to sit and savor every word.
The Sebastian St. Cyr Historical Mystery series ONGOING– I read the first two books in the series last month and hope to get to the next couple in July. I’m really enjoying.
Kini- You know the drill. I am irresponsible with the number of ARCs I request versus the number of ARCs I can read. But there are just so many good books coming out all the time and I just can’t help myself.
The Me I Used to Be by Jennifer Ryan 7/2 – The opening sentence in the blurb is “After serving time for a crime she didn’t commit,”. Oh hello book about a woman who served time. I believe this is more women’s fiction but I am okay with that.
Side note: seriously, what’s up with all the releases on 716? I probably should not have waited so long to get started on these books!
Home Field Advantage by Liz Lincoln 7/16 – The third book in Lincoln’s football centric series that actually includes people of color playing football. I am here for it.
Trashed by Mia Hopkins 7/16– I’ve actually already read this and it is FANTASTIC. If you enjoyed Thirsty, I feel pretty confident that you will enjoy this as well. You should probably just go ahead and preorder it. :)
The McAvoy Sisters Book of Secrets by Molly Fader 7/16 – Another women’s fiction entry to my list, but y’all know I am a Molly O’Keefe super fan girl. I can’t wait to see how Fader/O’Keefe’s voice differs from her romance/erotic romance.
Along for the Ride by Mimi Grace 7/16 – Road trip romance, yes please! I saw this on Twitter and the cover is super adorable. Although I did see the author tweet that even though it has an illustrated cover, it is a steamy read.
Piece of my Heart by Nicole Jacquelyn 7/23 – Once upon a time I hated a hero so very much I wished for the heroine to have a different love interest. That was book 1 in this series by Jacquelyn and I am still invested enough to see how this series concludes. This book seems like it has an element of marriage in trouble and I am all about that.
Four Meaningful Words by A.M. Guilliams 7/31 – The blurb alludes to marriage in trouble, one of my favorite tropes so I was all over this book. I have never heard of this author so I am taking a chance. I will let you know if it pays off :)
Sheena: I read my most anticipated ARC of 2019, a couple of weeks ago, so everything since then has felt soooo anti-climactic. Even so, July is my lucky (and birthday!) month and I have my eye on a few upcoming gems:
Bound to the Battle God by Ruby Dixon– 7/1 Oh don’t look so surprised. Ruby delivers the alien fantasy smut I need in my life and July 1st she took it a step further and went full fantasy on my ass. And I’m reading it. End of!
Making Up, by Helena Hunting- 7/16 Making up is book 4 in the Shacking Up series. I’ve not read book 1-3. I’m jumping in feet first. The reviews are solid and anticipation for the book by cult fans is high- and the blurb promises hilariously awkward situations and super charged sexual chemistry. I’m game.
How to Hack a Heartbreak by Kristin Rockaway– 7/30 Hearty heroine tired of hapless (bad) online dating develops her own girl-friendly app and adventures ensue with a maybe-boyfriend crush. I like her already and the blurb teased lots of fun. The cover is horrible. I persevered and added it to my July TBRs- but dude- terrible cover.
