Top Ten – January 24, 2020

January 24, 2020 by Kini 3 Comments

We made it another week y’all. Happy Friday!

10. We are basically a Cheer fan account now, so I felt compelled to share this with you. Buzzfeed has a round-up of celebrities tweeting about Cheer.

9. But have you seen their whole Daytona performance? I’ve watched it several time.

8. Idol by Kristen Callihan has been turned into an interactive story. If anyone has tried this out, please let us know how it works.

Something very cool (well, I think so. Lol) IDOL is a @ChaptersGame interactive story. You can download the app and live your best rockstar life with Killian & Libby. Look at them! Aren't they cute? https://t.co/beaew2MBDjhttps://t.co/bp3pZUw93O pic.twitter.com/i9brxmuVk3

7. Do you love the Ice Planet Barbarian books by Ruby Dixon? Do you love podcasts? If you answered yes to both of those questions, you should probably check out Ice Planet Podcast.

6. Our friends at RomBkPod released their most recent podcast. January is all about retellings!

Check them out.

5. Our friends over at Forever acquired two new books series by Alexis Hall. Both sound great. But especially the rom-com set against a British baking reality show.

Delighted to share that we have TWO new series by Alexis Hall (@quicunquevult) launching next year! pic.twitter.com/8iiU7RvNjI

4. Jeopardy is the only show I watch with any regularity. I saw this headline and needed to share.

These Jeopardy contestants played against each other, then fell in love.

3. Did y’all see the cast of Schitt’s Creek dressed up at the SAG Awards? Don’t they look stunning?

2. Have you heard about the new Carina Adores line? Carina Press, Harlequin’s digital-first romance imprint, plans to launch Carina Adores, a line of contemporary and classic LGBTQ+ romance tales with characters drawn from throughout the spectrum of LGBTQ+ communities. The new line will debut in June 2020 during Pride Month.

We work with the team at Carina frequently and we are excited about this new line. I am particularly excited for The Girl Next Door by Chelsea M. Cameron.

1 Did y’all see this photo? I got nothing except heart eyes for this. I feel like not much else can top this week than a photo of some beautiful men. You’re welcome.
