We made it another week y’all! And it’s March. It feels like Spring is going to arrive here in Maryland any day now and I am not sad to say goodbye to winter.
Here are just a few of the things that I saw on the interweb that captured my attention.
10. Are you on Instagram? The Ripped Bodice created a filter for what romance trope are you. Check it out.
9. I am OBSESSED with Love Is Blind. Don’t judge me. But feel free to find me on Twitter to talk about the show. Especially if you’ve watched the finale. Anywho, I saw this cute parody that Nyle DeMarco did on IG.
8. Speaking of Love Is Blind, Buzzfeed had an article about Amber and Barnett
7. But the queen and king of LiB were Lauren and Cameron.
6. Angela sent me this link. Jeados are a thing that I do not understand, Live your best life and all that, but JEAN speedos?
5. These weird balloon pants are WEIRD. And they look inappropriate.
4. Romance For Literacy. Some wonderful romancelandia folks put together a fundraiser for ProLiteracy. This is to replace the Literacy Signing that is typically held at the RWA National Convention. A few authors have teams, including Courtney Milan, Beverly Jenkins, Sarah MacLean, Tessa Dare, Zoe York, Skye Warren and more. Check it out and consider donating if you are able.
3. I saw this hat on someone’s IG stories the other day. And I decided I needed to make it for my son. You know, right before spring arrives. It is called the Windschief by Stephen West. Last weekend I did the cast-on and two rows and realized I was doing it wrong. So I ripped it out and will give it another try this weekend.
2. Dramatic Kitties are definitely on brand for me. I watched this video so many times. I also saved a gif of it on my work computer because I feel like I can get multiple uses out of it.
1. Top spot this week goes to the Dixie Chicks. I am a long time fan (since the first time I heard When You Were Mine). I have been patiently awaiting new material from them. And this week they delivered. I am definitely here for women being angry and mad about the men who wronged them. I have watched/listened to this song so many times it borders on embarrassing.
