Top Ten – May 1, 2020

May 1, 2020 by Kini 2 Comments

We made it to a new month. Let’s hope better and less stressful days are upon us soon. Here are some some things I found this week on the interweb that I thought y’all might enjoy.

10. Look at this athleticism

9. This little girl and her sheep are adorable

Spent the last hour judging the online sheep show

And I have to tell you that the young handlers under 8 class was the cutest thing I have ever seen pic.twitter.com/CS1ZiATOhU

8. One of my friends posted about this guy and I LOVE watching his videos. This one has been my favorite.

5. I watched this video so many times. The video features Lucy, her daughter Lucie Arnaz, and Ginger Rogers

4. As someone who grew up in the 1980’s and watched a ton of MTV, I really enjoyed this.

3. This bookcoverchallenge is PERFECT!

i love @hhoangwrites's romance novels so i did "the bride test" for the @nypl #bookcoverdouble challenge!

"I HATE THIS HOUSE!" Getting us right in the feels, this little buddy is definitely us in that post-quarantine life… just waiting for the day, tbh 😂🙏 (🎥: TikTok / darshelle1x)

1.5 Bonus Content: I found this video mesmerizing for multiple reasons.

1 I don’t know the full context of this video but it is amazing and I love it. I am having positive feelings about Marisa and Oscar from this video.

An old lady moment regarding #4: I was in the audience at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles on the night in 1984 that the Talking Heads filmed “Stop Making Sense” (they actually filmed two concerts—the night I was there and the previous night—and used the best footage from each for the movie). The Tom Tom Club (“Genius of Love”) was the opening/accompanying act. That was after I had morphed from a Disco Dolly to a Reagan-Era Go-Go Girl. Lol. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

What a fun memory, @DDD! I don’t think my seeing Sonny and Cher in Las Vegas with David Brenner as the opener quite compares.
