This Week on TikTok

This Week on TikTok

Its almost the holidays! My daughter comes home from college this weekend and I’m so excited! Social media is a mess and I’m seriously debating leaving Twitter and wondering about how safe TikTok really is, too. While I ponder my existence on those apps, let’s look at the week on TikTok.

#5 Someone PLEASE get me one of these for Christmas. I beg you.

#4 I detect no lies here. Elmo preach.

#3 This just makes me happy.

#2 Actual video of me leaving the house each morning.

#1 I’m not a football fan. But I am a Joe Burrow fan.

One more, check on your friends and family. This time of year can be especially rough. RIP tWitch.

This week I’m reading Praise by Sara Cate. SOOO hot!!! And, I’m listening to Malibu Rising by TJR. I’m nearing the end of that one and am really enjoying it. My book club secret Santa got me The Dead Romantics and I’m stoked to start that one next. Two questions for you! What are you currently reading? And what’s your most anticipated book in 2023?

Happy Holidays! –

Right now I’m catching up on a couple of HPs that I purchased recently. I’m trying to clear the decks for the day after Christmas when Cate C. Wells releases THE LONE WOLF’S REJECTED MATE, the next book in her Five Packs series of shifter romances. As for what I’m looking forward to in 2023, there’s no one single book dominating my thoughts (unlike this year when I couldn’t wait for THE LONG GAME), but I’m happily anticipating Genevieve Turner’s COWBOY, PROMISE ME ALWAYS (January 19), Kati Wilde’s SHERIFF’S BAD BEAR (January 31), Zoe York’s REBEL AT HEART (April 25), Julie Kriss’s REVERB (May 1), and Serena Bell’s WILDER AT LAST (June 6).

I’m currently reading and enjoying The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen. There is no one book I’m looking forward to in 2023, but I imagine/hope I’ll read plenty of good books.

And happy holidays to you, too!

Also, love the Joe Burrow clip. Two of my daughters are LSU graduates and Joe is a hero in our house (where we refer to him with the Louisiana-approved spelling of “Joe Burreaux”). Our only quibble is that, after he led LSU to a championship and went into the NFL, he chose to go back to his home state and play for the Bengals rather than stay in Louisiana and play for the Saints.

Joe has so much swagger…from his funky suits to his interviews, he’s such a great character (and QB!)
