Do y’all remember when I featured the first two FREE NOVELLAS in this series? Here let me remind you:

Review- The Halifax Hellions Duet by Alexandra Vasti

This is the third, and last, book about the Halifax siblings. Spencer Halifax is about to meet his match when he goes to retrieve his fake wife from her sheep farm.

To say I was utterly charmed would be an understatement. Right from the start, when Winnie sets out to obtain some property and start up her own sheep farm, away from London and her mother’s shenanigans, determined to make her own happiness, I fell in love. She makes up a marriage and plucks a name out of the air for her fake husband, not knowing that the real Spencer Halifax will eventually show up one day.

Spencer is wonderfully beta on the streets and just a little bit alpha in the sheets. He is enamored of Winnie from the moment he meets her, in jail and covered in sheep shit. He rescues her and then after discussing how their fake marriage came about, they set out for London to procure an annulment. Winnie also has some unfinished business left over from her mother’s illegal antics to take care of.

I won’t give too much away but let me just say- that this book is just the right amount of smoking hot love scenes mixed in with sweet getting-to-know-you. The hero is swoon-worthy and the heroine absolutely wonderful in all her chaotic glory. I ADORED them. Absolutely adored.

Each of the three novellas is available in the author’s newsletter, which you can get if you go to her website. They are all free for the time being- SO GO GRAB THEM ASAP.

I am so pumped for this author’s first release with Berkley- Ne’er Duke Well comes out July 23rd of next year, and it’s already on my TBR

Grade- A

I loved Winnie and Spencer’s book and can’t wait for Alexandra’s book next year.
