Hi there hoes! Greetings skanky-claus? HO HO HO and much hapPenis to you all! This is May here, and I love more than anything else my holiday love stories. I love some cheesy made for TV romantic comedies, the tree and snow and ornament covered books featuring Christmas and winter romance, and all the rest of it too. I am, a holiday ho and in preparations of smexy-mas and some holiday break reading time, I want to share with you my top ten recommendations! Ok, so there are way more than ten Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten Favorite Heroes for 2012
Next week we’ll be bringing you our favorite books of 2012 and on New Years day I’ll be posting my favorite Sex Scenes of 2012. (That’s a good way to ring in the new year, yes?) But today, let’s talk about the men of 2012. The men who wooed us, who flaunted their hard abs and big bulges, who whispered dirty things in our ears. Tack (Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley). Tack goes from the most arrogant, obnoxious ‘alpha-hole’ to the most lovable (still arrogant) alpha hero that is out there. I. Continue Reading
What genre will be red hot in 2013?
By May. Paranormal Romance bottomed out a while back for me, it’s been a long time since I read an amazing one, and any I did really like were part of a long-established series. At the start of 2012, historical romance was my #1 producer of amazing reads. As we wind down 2012, I have read a slew of forgettable, repetitive, nothing special, absolute waste of my time historical romances which has me wondering: What genre is going to dominate 2013? I have no idea, and thus the reason Continue Reading

A few titles I’m looking forward to coming up in February. You can check out my previous January post as well. Winterblaze by Kristen Callihan – February 26. Thanks to the prodding of many of my friends, I read book one, Firelight in this paranormal historical series and really enjoyed it. Bonus – book two is pretty awesome as well. Very excited for book three in this series. Each book has a new HEA, but I recommend starting from the beginning. Goodreads l Kindle Lord of Darkness Continue Reading

Series: Know When to Walk Away, Know When to Run
By May. Just a few nights ago I sat down to order the Tara Janzen “Steele Street” series as a gift. If you’re not familiar with it – it’s a very sexy, fun, over the top romantic suspense series that has plenty of black ops, twists, intrigue, hot cars, and smexy time. Anyhow, as I went to order I realized that there are eleven books in the series. This made me frown, because I can only recall about five or six that I read and loved. Which leaves about half the series that I definitely Continue Reading
To Be Read – January
One of my favorite things to do is to scan through upcoming releases and prepare my TBR pile to be filled. Here are a few books I’ve found that are coming out in the next couple months that look good to me. One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah MacLean – January 29. This is book two in Sarah MacLean’s The Rules of Scoundrels series. This one excites me because the heroine loves science and research. The hero is a bookkeeper of The Fallen Angel, a gaming hell. And I believe he is a ginger. Continue Reading
A Discussion about Consequences by Aleatha Romig
Edited to include updated purchase links and new cover. A few days ago Amy and Jen (both reviewers at Fiction Vixen) and Tori all told me to read this book. These are three ladies that share my tastes in books, so when I read the blurb and felt slightly horrified, I knew I had to push forward and try it. I ended up really like this book, but I want to say a few things first before we get into the discussion. First of all, this is not a romance book. This is a psychological thriller. There Continue Reading
